I made one with a similar theme. Too slow for legacy, but fun for casual play. Look at equilibrium for a nice way to bounce creatures.

Looks good for some casual play. Really high CMC on stuff. Agro or decks with good counters would stop your important spells. I would look at putting some counters in.

I am thinking of remaking this with some mana curve and maybe the surestrike trident

I haven't revisited a lot of my older decks to look at newer cards, but the evangel fits the bill. There are some real good soldiers out that help also. I didn't want to rely on one or two specific cards with the deck, which is why there isn't a more concrete theme.

I have a deck with these but never got around to finishing it.

I find that concentrating on glimpse and archive trap is faster. Also snapcasters or similar to keep playing them. Maybe even tutors to find more.

I would try and stick to just 60 cards in a deck. This increases your chance of pulling cards you need. Your mana curve is really high to not have something to accelerate mana or land draw. I would also think of some good counter and removal spells. A good soldier deck can come out swinging lethal in 4-5 turns or so.

No birthing pod? That's seems to go with Melira.

Thorndike staff allows a creature to ping damage and when a creature is put into a graveyard, it untaps. Put that onto a deathtouch creature to clear a board.

Thanks. I am still playing with ideas and have tweaked it since I made the list. It has surprised me with the flexibility and staying power.

This is just the base idea. I am going to look into some other artificat sac ideas. I also need it to come out a little faster.

I use beast master and triumph of the hordes along with taunting elves and signal pest in my elf deck. I don't have some major cards for a t2 win. I have had some t3 wins with it. http://www.mtgvault.com/johnkaldar/decks/fast-trample-infect/

I have a B/R with somewhat same concept. I haven't gotten more blood artist, but do have others that interact with creatures entering/dying. I am using creatures that do damage when they come into play or die. Another thought for you might be token generators to use as sac fodder. http://www.mtgvault.com/johnkaldar/decks/sacrificial-lambs/

I threw together a deck using the magemark auras. I added sphere of safety to make it more difficult for them to attack.

Just changed it up a little. I might look at making more tokens for the altar.

Any straight counterspells should help. A sideboarded destroy all artifacts in my elf deck would stop this dead. It is the same problem I have with my casual artifact decks. If this is just casual play then sure, straight aggro is ok, but having to win by turn 3 everytime to win legacy is a different story. You just want something to help you last that long.

Looks like you need something help draw faster or some counters for creature kill/board wipes. A lot of low cost is going to have you top decking fast.
