Im also considering lifeline for the deck, and maybe even a cauldron of souls.

cant afford vampiric right now, since im on a budget and trying to foil out jenara, and am working on a casual tribal giants deck, and filling out 4 other edh decks. as a general rule, im kind of against felidar sovereign. Withered wretch are fucking awesome, idont know how i missed those. Im not sure about dark supplicant/scion. Im trying to build it tribal while still making teysa a valid general.

Mill isnt the idea. The idea for the most part is exile they're library. Surgical extraction prevents a shuffle trigger from ulamog/kozilek/progenitus, etc, allowing me to mill them if need be.

oh man, id say at least 10 more lands as well, since you have a mono colored deck

all good suggestions, but all in all the inspiration here is a toolbox land deck that isnt running child of alara as the general. The Tricks made available through lands seems like a lot of fun. As a general rule, in my play group, we all pick between several decks before we play, and have different decks for different situations. Ive built 9 seperate decks so far, and i almost ALWAYS win. If i want to win, im not playing green. Im playing my azami card advantage, or recently dismantled sharuum or arcum daggson decks. My friends have gotten tired of me killing everyone that isnt me simultaneously and doing it quickly. Thats why i figured this would be neat to throw togethor on here and look at.

I do plan on building azusa, but not in the way this is set up. My TRUE azusa build is almost complete, and runs almost nothing but forests. It will be MUCH more competitive than this, and will beat face VERY quickly. This was thrown togethor simply as a very casual azusa build, that looks neat due to the very high dollar utility lands within.

mmk, lets start at the top. NAtural order isnt necesary, since i dont have many targets to sac. Genesis wave is a maybe, but to be honest, its boring all in all, and you tend to lose your recovery cards to it like restock. Survival is a maybe, but i dont have many targets for it. Darksteel is good, period. I can tutor it easily, and i can kill it with a greater good for mass card advantage. Rofellos isnt necesary, since over half my lands arent forests. Joiner, chromatic lantern, and prismatic should be self explanatory: HALF THE DECK doesnt produce mana. Tabernacle is perfect, since quite obviously i can recover from it, while others might not be able to so easily. i refuse to run terastodon, its quite simply a dick move. Sylvan is a maybe. Melira is in here for, yet again, obvious reasons. Greater good melira primus combo is very easy to obtain, and ends the game. Closet can be dropped, pretty easily. Ghost town triggers recurring ETB card draw and baloth tokens, so its staying. Whispersilk is a staple that protects my beater, and guarentees damage, unlike the swords you mentioned. Miko is politics, and advantage. Its EDH for a reason. Multiplayer anyone? Spine is most certainly not subpar, especially combined with phyrexias tower, orrery, and seedborn muse. Blow up everyones mana base, then play tabernacle? You're right, its aweful.

It would take a long time for you to fix your comment in writing. Constructivley criticize something better (constructive; key word)

What you're missing is simply this: it's a casual green deck utilizing azusa's land ramp abilities more efficiently. Instead of copy pasting the SAME dump forest play boring big guy azusa deck EVERYONE else has, ive come up with something more interesting.

But hey, maybe i should just build child of alara, and dump lands in it instead.

i have considered the swords, and i need to put green suns in. Id like to skip triskellion simply because i run mikaeus. i just took apart my Sharuum The Hegemon deck and im trying to stay away from combos for a while, since my friends got so used to me just winning constantly :P

i still prefer the super slow, control -ish mono black build. This does, however, look pretty good. I would definitely add the new pump from dragons maze though. 1G +5/+5.

Awesome. Simply brilliant. Id love to see a gaea's cradle in here. Maybe even Braid of fire. Every upkeep, add a cumulative amount of Red to your mana pool.

If you have mana to mass regenerate, something weird is going on and the game hasnt ended. Why regenerate a massive amount of creatures, when you only need to push through one or two?
