Consider fist of the suns. Makes all your spells cost 1 of each color, so 5 mana total. Bloom tender can help too, since it will tap for 3-5 mana at a time, usually.

Still confused why it's underrated. I think standard kids should learn to look back a bit. Seer is a dark confidant with a VERY small downside on a 4/4 flyer's body. He's great!

I personally don't like the deck at all lol I just threw it togethor since its much cheaper than most modern decks. I doubt i'll ever build it, i just wanted to draw sample hands, check the curve, and the overall consistency. As far as modern goes, i like the white weenies build i put together. I'm considering experimenting with the weenie archetype, and going for a bant build similar to legacy maverick.

Alluren is nice, because slivers costing 3 or less can be cast for free at instant speed. Cavern of souls helps against counterheavy decks, and aethervial works wonders.

Ya know, im really undecided. I thought about the gates, but being able to brainstorm, then sac a terramorphic and shuffle the fluff i put back from the brainstorm seemed really useful.

Ohh yeah. Brain Freeze. Best mill card ever printed. Also, id cut terrain generator and add ghost quarter. Not only does it thin lands out of there deck, making mind grind more effective, it almost guarentees and Archive Trap trigger. Creeping Tar pit is another land id add, because it gives you a consistant beater if you have trouble milling them. Surgical extraction and extirpate can help take care of cards like the eldrazi and progenitus that shuffle back when they hit the graveyard, as well as leyline of the void.

Here's something you might want to consider, http://www.mtgvault.com/kennythedestroyer/decks/good-ol-mill/
Yes, some of the cards are very expensive, but you can always skip them and use other spells.

Thanks for the comment! I actually threw this togethor in about 5 minutes the other night. Local Pauper is all 1v1 tournaments, and being able to use ONLY commons puts a bit of a damper on things.

Alluren makes for a great card in slivers, depending on how agressive your local meta is. However, if you wanna go VERY competitive, and build something fast, powerful, and versatile, i recommend taking a look at my legacy Bant counterslivers decklist. http://www.mtgvault.com/kennythedestroyer/decks/legacy-slivers/

Lol "tourneyfag" deck. You can build any deck you want, you probably couldn't place in even the simplest of casual, free to play tourneys. Id tell you to sell you're collection, but no one wants it :] Your PAUPER decks aren't even any good!

Awesome, thanks for the advice. I havent actualy played standard since Kamigawa block, i stick to EDH and legacy, but my buddy was building a standard deck that needed a serious overhaul, so i threw this togethor for him.

consider distortion strike as opposed to artful dodge. Same mana cost, but it rebounds for free next turn, gives the creature +1/+0, and is just all around a better card.

You've GOT to add invigorate. AS far as green/blue infect goes in legacy, i highly recommend the more consistant Blazing Shoal build.

Crocanura only costs three, has reach, and gets bigger and bigger.

Evolving wilds triggers landfall, especially if i explore into two of them. Giving my geopede +8/+8 is badass. Unfortunately, soltari visionary is an uncommon. Ive considered werebear though, since i cant run nimble mongoose. Basically, this is similar to the big zoo ive got built, but without the goyfs, lightning helix, dual lands, etc.

Consider pemmin's aura, or freed from the real. You can enchant your tap creatures, then pay ONE blue to untap them. With pemmins you can also give them flying and shroud for one, sooo tap, ping a creature, take it, repeat. Another nice little combo that works with this is using horseshoe crab or puresight merrow + hermetic study

AS far as tutors go, demonic tutor, enlightened tutor, and eladamri's call can help a lot. Murmuring bosk is a must have in here as well. Its a tribal treefol land, it counts as a forest, and taps for black white or green. Crocanura has helped me a lot with mine, considering almost every creature makes it bigger. Phyrexian obliterator, although power and toughness are the same, makes for an across the board good black creature. It has trample, and forces opponents that damage it to sac creatures, Especially with the right artifacts equipped to it.

And you can always go with the classic earthcraft squirrel nest combo. Ghave has a lot of combos in him. Grave pact would make a great addition to this deck too, because when you sac a creature to Ghave, each opponent sacs one too. As far as card advantage goes, phyrexian arena can help with card draw, eladamris call can get you creatures fast, and although a bit expensive, mirri's guile, sylvan library and demonic tutor will give you card draw/advantage and card search, respectively. And we cant forget the ever important doubling season and parallel lives!

the problem is im trying to keep it pauper so ONLY commons are allowed. The uncommons in here were originally printed as common, so thats the only reason they're still here. I like the idea for sure though, i have a bant enchantress EDH deck with rafiq of the many, and my good friend has a 60 card enchantress deck. :] Surprisingly, enchantress's are a tier 1 legacy archetype, control actually, running only 4 creatures lol
