Wizards must have known that Treasure Hunt was so easy to break ...

Nice thinking with Reliquary Tower.

If your treasure hunt is countered ... you're screwed, unless you pick up another. On the bright side, it isn't that likely on turn 2, unless you are playing Jace.

Think about thornbiter staff with Vampire Nighthawk.

Add more Lazav and Ashiok.

Consider an Echo Mage. He might help you out.

Other choice ... nab a battlefield thaumaturge and some spells with Strive.

Bring more triton tactics ... it's awesome, cheap, allows you to have 2 creatures with pseudo vigilance, AND it targets 2 of your heros. You definitely need 4.

You don't need desecration demon ... it doesn't fit. It is not heroic or dimir, nor does it benefit from them. Plus, it's not human.

How am I supposed to choose?

Land is the most powerful but least mentioned permanent. Their modus operandi is FREE, they are cheap, and they can't be countered as they are never spells! Just imagine making a deck without them!

Dude, it does. I drew a few sample hands. MORE LANDS!

I am flattered. Though ... it looks like I need more land.

This deck some things I need help with, if anyone is interested.
1. Medic/Nighthawk vs. Paladin/Captivating on the mainboard?
2. Mainboard creature for Vampire Hexmage.
3. Phyrexian Tower vs. Crypt of Agadeem.

Northern, if you see this, I dare you to make a budget version.
