I like it. Such devious thinking!

A little expensive, but Hero of Bladehold is really good.

I can't find that convoke card:

MTG has helped so many shy souls ... it is a great game, and not just because it's fun.

Hold on, I will find you a cheap and good human token card (Increasing Devotion is pretty good, but I know a few tricks).

Hey, I know your pain. As an only child, I thought I cope with loneliness. I quit video games and forced myself to be social. You will find that your brains and ability to go at life alone make you a valuable friend who is free from a lot of peer pressure if you pull it off right. There is something you can do as well as Magic ... I know it.

Okay ... could you look at my Army of Two Deck? I need to cut it's size and cost a tad. I made it originally with 60 cards ... without lands. Due to the high amount of devotion to each color, the lands are expensive.

I do too ... though the lands to support it cost so much!

Hmm ... ensnaring bridge is amazing with Captivating Vampire or Vampire Nighthawk w/ Thornbite Staff!

I have 1 suggestion. Elspeth Sun's Champion or Elspeth Tirel instead of Increasing Devotion. If you want a cheaper alternative, let me know.

I love this deck! Good work. So much lifegain ... have you considered Angelic Accord?

I'm going to take a look.

Thanks for inspiring me with such a neat deck. I love that this deck is an old friend of yours ... that is the true spirit of Magic.

Don't feel pressured to take my advice; I am sorry if I came off arrogant. In fact, I am a hardcore white player, so I am still getting used to sacrificing my own creatures!

Why not use Altar's Reap? It's not reusable, but it sacrifices one of your creatures.

Really? Even if I had a Thornbite Staff? Or Frontline Medic? Or Silverblade Paladin? Or blade of the Bloodchief?

I am not saying Captivating is bad at all, just that Nighthawk is more flexible. And Nighthawk is faster. Isn't this deck supposed to be fast? Can you really withstand an attack from ALL my creatures the turn after you use Captivating Vampire? He's too slow here since he id meant for midrange and vampire token decks, not an aggro deck.

You know what ... why not use both? Sideboard Nighthawk for fighting against weenie decks, and mainboard Captivating. If you like Captivating Vampire, you should really look at Sorin, Lord of Innistrad.

Each card in Magic is like a Spartan Warrior in a phalanx. An individual card is not as important as the cards around it. Vampire Nighthawk sends a lot of dudes to the graveyard ... which helps with so many vampire abilities. Bad moon and Control Magic can substitute for Captivating Vampire, but Nighthawk is unique. Finally, you need something to block flyers.

Dude, take out Desecration Demon, and another deck with him! He might go well with Corpsejack Menace, Primal Vigor / Doubling Season, and Pithing Needle. Lol, Pithing needle as an ultimate - who would have thought it!
Maybe make whole deck based around Pithing Needle! Wheel of Sun and Moon, Arrest/Pacifism, Strionic Resonator, etc.

And Northern, you are brilliant at creating well-balanced budget decks. Dude, I totally want to be able to do that!

But Nighthawk can kill faster than Mr. Captivating can steal, and you only should think about stealing their best creatures. Also, you need to derail your opponent's plans.

For example, I have a Knight Exemplar in my Knight deck, which gives all my OTHER knights +1/+1 and indestructibility. Put bluntly, if you don't take that sucker out before I play 2 of them, you are in for a world of hurt. You could steal it with Captivating, but since it's only 3 CMC, I will have at least 2 other knights out. And what if I respond to your stealing by taking it back? Or destroying your other creatures, like with Gideon Jura? Or attacking you with your "pants down", i.e., all your creatures tapped.

All decks need quick responses to enemy shenanagins (unless you're packing hexproof or protection with all your creatures). Another perfect example is Northern Paladin, which has [T]WW, destroy target black permanent. Do you have the time to spare to capture him?

My biggest argument - what if the trouble is an artifact or enchantment or Planeswalker. It would be highly embarrassing to have Sorin steal your Captivating Vampire and use it against you. What if a lifegain deck comes a'calling with Angelic Accord?
