I have always been fond of Orzhov - Black and White colors. The side-board seems to be most attractive. I think that there is plenty of hate with the ability to remove artifacts and enchantments. I also like the creature spread. There is great removal packages and you can keep your guy alive. I recently found out that these two colors support control decks - but I much prefer mid-range.
Your first 3 turns should be setting up Royal Assassin and chipping in with some discard spells. The Royal Assassin and Gideon's Lawkeeper is the ultimate combo for this deck. Rounds 4 and 5 can be used for playing a big creature to help finish the game. Pretty straight forward I think.
