Deck Description

Feeding three abilities of Marath: target damage to creatures; creature growth of +1/+1 counters; creating tokens

any recommendations are appreciated

How to Play

Target damage:
Giving Marath deathtouch makes him an instant board wipe. This is available in a variety of ways; Basilisk Collar, Nightshade Peddler, Bow of Nylea, Quietus Spike.

Creature growth:
Transferring +1/+1 counters from Marath to other creature's can grow giants of smaller creaturs with great abilities, such as Dark Steel Myr.
It is better to use on creatures that use the counters for other abilities. Remove counters from Spike Feeder for gaining life or use them later on Gyre Sage for mana ramping.

Token creatures:
Use them to create a wall of defense and grow an army with doubling season.

Feeding Marath it the main focus of the deck with lots of Mana sources and extra mana ramp to keep Marath coming out again and again. So protecting him from others is needed hex proof and card returns are needed.

Deck discussion for Will of the Wild

forgotten ancient is a great creature for +1/+1 counter production, also primevil titan is banned for edh. if your play group is cool it then forget i mentioned it haha.

might want to consider either diversifying your landbase or throw in a chromatic lantern for the mana fixing :P deck idea looks fun!

Primal is accepted in my playgroup, and land diversifying is there just have to load them still.

Primeval Titan not legal in commander mode (see banned list...).
Swicth Gauntlet of power for a Mirari's Wake, because Gauntlet of Power give the abillity to all player's of the chosen color.
Swicth Primal Vigor for a Cathar Crusade or a Mayel's Aria, because Primal vigor give the abillity to all player's.
Put a Gavony Township could be good in your deck.

UPDATE:
Adding Sun Titan allows for many of the powerful low cost artifacts, enchantments, and creatures to come back late game to finish thinks off or turn the tide. Quick retrieval of Glarring Spotlight, Basilisk Collar, Mayael's Aria, Spike Feeder, Fleecemane Lion, or Frontline Medic all can change direction of the game, depending on need.
