You have a good point there, I am currently only missing 2 surgical extraction and an obliterator to finish off the deck, once i get those cards next fnm I will make the deck and then make appropriate changes. Btw what do you think i should change the vampire hexmages?

without hexmage I can't counter plainswalkers like gideon
there is a card called cinder pyromancer you should look into, its almost like geletrode

You might want to put in gideon to protect venser and to give you some added control

you have too many expensive cards that are useless, like 3 mana counterspells and xenograph...more popularity doesnt mean it is better
if someone runs a leyline in a heavy control deck, manabarbs will just rape them. They can activate their colonades or gideon will be harder to play.
I have played with this deck alot and trust me, that card has won me more than just a couple matches. your right about being narrow and this is why i only have 3 copies of the card.
throw in lux cannon for removal since you have so much proliferation. It could hold your enemy at bay until you get grind clock. I would also put in preordain and ponder to be more likely to get a card you really need.
If each land made it do more damage but i have just the same chance of getting a fetch land as a normal one. One land coming into play effects it just the same as 2 lands coming in. I liked your ratchet bomb idea btw. thanks. I will keep your suggestion in mind but i have to play test it at fnm and there might be changes afterwards.

The phoenix is reoccurring since it bounces back whenever you do damage with a red instant or sorcery, which is almost half my deck. and good call on the fetch lands
Idk the sideboard yet, maybe some more corpse cur or some counter spells vs a heavy control deck. I just played it at fnm and i realized I needed the gambits

I am busy in school so i haven't had time to play test is with my friends, but when dry running it, by damage alone I would win by turn 5 every single time.
