Yeah, it would be too slow and also not needed^^
First off: Where do you see me getting Mana from sacrificing? I'm a little confused honestly xD
I do have a lot of Mana, though, thats true, but f.e. Endless Ranks does not do anything on its own, ergo I'm not even sure if I get something out of it at all (it needs at least 2 Zombies on my side, 8 of my 25 creatures are Vampires...).
And Army of the Damned would obviously be great but... I don't need it :) The 11 sacriceables in the Deck can be sacrificed over and over again, sometimes even without paying mana for it (Bloodghast). They are always there and always helpful while costing 2 Mana at most. Army would only be good on the last turn and again, not on its own, just if I have all the other combopieces on the battlefield...

I hope I made those issues relatively clear ;)

having only 4 outs to make this deck work is not very good...
after sideboarding, 1 surgical extraction completely destroys your deck.
temporal pumping of creatures is not the best aswell... i wouldn definitely put 4 quest for the gravelords in there...

thats not a problem, i just didn't think that you'd leave a comment on this deck if you dont know what the deck is trying to do and how.

oath tries to bring in creatures without paying for them. so, we'd rather look for big, expensive creatures, that win the game very fast than creatures that search for basic lands...
aside from that, i only really need 2 lands in play to win, so thats not important to me. since this deck needs this one card to win (oath of druids), i'd rather thin out my deck to get to this card faster (or cards that help me finding it).

yes, i understand you.
its really hard to explain why but life isn't as important in the older formants. it's like an investment you know... for example, there is a card that lets you draw four cards, while you have to pay half of your life (and 3 black)^^ but in a particular deck it's exactly what you're looking for.

My deck could help you out, even though it's a vintage build.

So, i playtested it and came to this, most probably, final version of this deck.
I can explain these choices if you want, but it's gonna be long...

I just wanted to thank you for your help, it made the deck a lot better ^^
I think I'll run it as an underpowered deck in a smaller vintage tournament, the playtest results were actually quite good-

are you really serious? ^^ worthless creatures in an oath deck? :D
they only search for BASIC lands... this is vintage...
btw, you DO know that tropical island and undergound sea both count as islands..?
it does tap for mana (kinda), you pay 1 life, get the dual land or basic you need, thinning out the deck...

True, let get me give you my thoughts about this though:

I "playtested" the deck before by looking at many starting hands, often having the problem of not having enough creatures to sacrifice, leading to Mulligans.
Bloodghast will always come back and do much damage within the combo, especially if Fastbond is on the field and FETCHES! ^^
Bloodghast and Gravecrawler are so similar to each other, that they really seem to want to be in the same deck.
But what do you think? Rather play four Butcher Ghouls? I mean he'll be dead after two sacrifices/blocks anyway and the Muse atleast draws an extra card on its own... i rather think that I'm not depending on the Gravecrawler that much anymore, because i got more targets to sacrifice now more often.
But again, I'll buy this deck and playtest it excessively ;)

You're right, I think I got the P9 I need already...

Talking about having not enuogh to sacrifice... I had not enough to sacrifice WITH before... Now it's 4 creatures, 2 instants, 2 tutors (imperial seal is by far the better card, but not here i think) and 1 land... That's why i'll test 2-4 Culling the Weak...

Right again, he'd just be overkill but a must in a casual deck with this theme ^^

I didn't forget about it, I actually had two Stairwells in the deck before i thought about Bloodghast... i think it's a must versus graveyard-hate, so i put it in the sideboard for now...

Another thing....^^
Replaced 2x Butcher Ghoul with 2x Bloodghast. Very good synergy with Fastbond and Blood Artist ^^
What do you think, maybe put 4 in?

Oh and maybe your thoughts on...

Time Walk
Culling the Weak ( Gravecrawler/direct damage-combo)
Mikaeus, the Unhallowed

...in this deck?

Hey^^
Thank you for looking over it! I knew you could help me ;)

Ok, thought so ^^ I don't have the deck here yet, so i didn't playtest it, but it looks very felxible in my opinion :)
Thougt so about the Fanboy aswell. I was explicitly looking for zombies, he looked really amazing! He's really good in combination with 2 cards only (+1 tutor/1land) though...

Talking about the Fanboy, he'll definitely be replaced by Blood Artist. He's not a zombie though, but I think thats ok ^^. He makes the deck a lot faster and replaces Staff o.t. Death Magus, making a free slot!

I saw the Staff as the only real lifegain with zombies in this combo, so i really thought that it would be better to gain life with lands aswell. I really really thought about Fastbond, now it's, without a doubt, the better choice BY FAR. Being able to play all my lands in my hand with a good pice of the combo is just insane ^^
Thraximundar is just the representation of my fear of a tinkered Blightstell, Griselbrand etc...
Making him almost always (I guess) uncounterable is powerfull, his effect at least has some synergy and he's a Zombie aswell ^^
Thrax and Rooftop were the reasons i put Mana Crypt and especially Sol Ring in there (Zombie Fanboy was nice aswell)^^ But they're still for early Graveborn Muses and much Mana in general...

YES! Tombstone Stairwell seems like a very nice finisher, especially since i can do more direct damage/lifegain through sacrificing now with putting Blood Artist in.
I'll just put 2 in there -now- though, because i really just see it as a finisher, it doesn't really do much on it's own and costs 4 mana + increasing costs :/ I'll see...

Thanks again, it really helped!
