You could run something like Rogue's Passage. It will be of little use to you, but you can combo it with Horobi and just pay 4 mana to destroy a creature each turn. Or Mystifying Maze.

For those 1/1s to be any threat it is. As for Overrun, Idunno maybe just me but I would rather have a consistent army as opposed to a single 1 turn hope to god it kills army.

Seems way too dependent on the Sigil Captain. If they were to remove it, those 1/1s won't put up much of a fight.

How would Honor of the Pure work in conjunction with the captain? Would they get the counters then get +2/+2 or not get them at all and become 2/2s? If it's the first option, I would add them in to make them a threat without the Captain.

I would also look into running Lingering Souls. It's only 50 cents, and all you have to do is run a few dual colored lands for black to utilize the flashback cost. Iirc, a pro tour player did this in Innistrad season while running azorius spirits and ran 1 swamp for Lingering Souls. It worked a lot better than you would think.

Also, you could run Gavony Township. It would make all your creatures threats overtime, and has great synergy with Hardened Scales. Unfortunately, it's 2.87, but still bearable. I would only run as a 2 MAYBE 3 of anyways.

Question, and I know this is going to sound stupid but, do most of you play EDH as a group or as a 1v1 experience? I really want to play it, but there are very few MTG players where I live and it just doesn't sound nearly as fun as a 1v1 game.

I had a deck idea not too long ago similar to this. It was W/R heroic but featured token producers such as Raise the Alarm then pumped up an army by targeting Phalanx Leader.

Sorry guys, that guy just kind of irked me with all the negativity. We may have a small population on the vault, but if we want it bigger we don't need people who just act like everyone else sucks and doesn't even attempt to help. Hell, isn't deck assistance what the site was for?

So, I'm a bit late to the party but if you wanted an extra utility land you could run Moorland Haunt as a 1-2 of just to have the option.

This is a really good deck type for the modern format. It's not the best of decks, especially being budget, but it's effective and fun!

There goes that elitism again. Pro tip for the future, instead of being condescending about everything and thinking your the best player out there, try to help people who (you think) are worse than yourself. It will help them in the long run, keep them playing, keep the game alive, create a better community, and you will have more friends. And who knows? Maybe you will learn something from them.

Just because you like "LOL LEGACY INFECT TEH BEST", has literally nothing to do with the upcoming set. They aren't going to go out and make you some brand new infect cards to have fun with. From your comments I've gotten that your play group sucked so you kept winning and "got banned from playing there for being too good". You have a huge ego, probably not very good anyways, and I'm willing to bet you got banned for being an elitist.

i can agree to this. X4 Assemble the Legion seems a bit steep anyway, I'd drop it to 2-3 of for the Honors.

He could do that, but his main idea here is to manifest a huge creature then exile it with Flickerwisp or Cloudshift. When the creature comes back it won't be manifested anymore, it will just come back into play as a big creature.

Yeah, people who think that clearly don't understand the game. I made a UW tokens deck with random cards laying around ON THE SPOT and demolished my friends with decks that were pumped full of rares.

I don't know about actual playability, but I absolutely love the theme of the deck. Will be building something similar soon!

Seems a bit unreliable with only 16 creatures. I would increase that amount up to 20-22 and cut some of the buff spells. Other than that I could see this working.
