Its great, but I thought that was the key card in non-budget pillowfort list?

Tiny leaders:-Everything below 3 cmc, 40 cards, 3cmc or less commander?

This deck seems fine btw, but I would say that you need to duress T1 and spend a few minutes forming a plan, your opponent WILL have disruption for your board/hand, because this is modern.

The only thing I can think of beating this is wrath effects. Turbo fog decks are great for stopping aggro decks. Have you proxyed and play tested this yet?

well sphere cant attack, and the key rune isn't adding much to the deck...so that frees up 6 spots....without loosing any artefacts...

I agree with allot of what you said there pushkin! Though Some way of protecting you fatties via wisperslik cloak or something like that would be a way to push though damage!

Faithless looting would also work really well with powering though your deck, and seeing as the mana requirement is so low id say that It may even be better than the howling mines in the deck.

Wellspring would be a great addition to this deck I think, having 8 sac outlets? You could always add something like mainc vandal as a 2 of to deal with your opponents nasty artefacts and have him in there to send artefacts that you don't want anymore to the bin ^-^

I never realised that scapeshift ran so few mountains!, Don't you need to put all 8 into play to get a kill?

I run this with more a warrior subtheme, though its almost the same.

I guess your running chained over mardu charm because you don't use mardu charms other two abilities?

it has ARC BLADE!

right so lets see.... hurm I see what you mean about something missing... like it needs more burst damage? You could always try and abuse cinder pyromancer? being able to untap him twice a turn each time you get a hit in seems cool? . . .. OR make this USA and put in soul fire grandmaster and laugh?

you might even want to replace eoprise for invisible stalker, he is cheap and can make CHARRRRRRGGEEE activate every turn?

Oh and instead of the dragon how about Tefri:?/ he is a legend but he slows down your opponent so once you get to CHARGE or ARC BLADE mana they wont be able to counter those wonderful spells.

CHARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGEEEE! >:O

I'm guessing deprive is also not anything seeing as the land drops are so important, and setting yourself back like that is probably worse than countering something?

I'm sorry to be a pain the ass, but would you be able to walk me though the games you play in your meta?

I could maybe give you some advice but the current decks that are playing in my meta, are Ascendancy, tron, necropotence, living death, mono read burn and delver, a few other brews, such as Havengoul litch heartless summoning and cruel ultimatum control. The decks that will be playing next but have not been tested against yet, are Fish and hatebears.

Is your meta like this atall? if it is it really helps me give you advice :D

Tbh he might be better off not using vault and using tapped-out it does more what he was talking about with people posting deck-lists with one or two changes to the list.

Hey I think adding a blinding spotlight to the top of the ridge in that place, so if the guests are being to shy you can turn that sucker on and call them down with a mark of muntantiy :D

This was really interesting! As a player who has to play with pros ( 3 out of the 12 people who go to my FNM regularly make top 8's in ptqs gooddamt >.<) I can really get into the intense feeling of a close standard match and the fact that a single play error or tell can ruin a match for you! Than afterwards you grab a beer and talk about the match, and have a few laughs about topdecks.

Though having fun should be a big part, noting your mistakes and working out why you lost should always be a talking point, even in casual... It seems odd to me that your friend got worse after playing casual is odd, and i agree with you that even if the format is casual you should try and make your plays in the most efficient way.

Then again on casual night i was killed by bees (OH GOD THE BEES), milling from alter or the brood, and in EDH turn 4 cascade wolf run infinite mana (along with 3 other people) and laughed in a very different way XD

Why go for this market....cockatrice and Mana leak are used for putting up pro tour deck-lists... It makes no sense to try and attract people here with deck-lists that will have been put up sooner on other sites... HECK most good deck lists only appear from pros on the day they use them on the pro tour so they were everywhere once people know a good build . . . I don't see how what you saying gets this site traffic. >.<

ALSO, players get good by looking at what people are playing and building decks to go for that, you work out a deck list then trade and buy to get that deck, and you will normally only have one powerful deck unless your a pro and win enough to have enough trades for more than one deck per format.......(because of the cost of building new decks) . .

also it is kinda fun to play against someone when you know what is in the deck they are playing BUT i often prefer playing against new and interesting constructed decks with decks of the same power level!

Casual does't have to mean bad decks, as long as the decks are on the same kind of power level you can get some really interesting and fun games with mechanics that you would never see outside of the casual format!

And that sense of fun is what vault should be working at to promote ^-^ that way it gets traffic and attracts people to the game :D
