Full of flavour, and in addition that that, it actually might win you quite a few games!

+1 And I wish you luck :3

It could work, let me know how the addition of sorin works out. (then again superfriends are often a good add to any deck)

so swap out deprecate ravings for book burning and we have a modern deck! :D +1.

I really hope this doesn't go under the radar on vault as this is a really inspiring a fun deck, that though runs on a combo, can have a few sb changes to make it a real beast!

Well you only nee green for soul mender, but then again sunpelal doesn't hurt and having 8 green sources probably ensures you can always cast it.

Sigh lost to this with a pretty good full powered standard deck on mtgo... the powered up variant of course, but that savage punching you into solidarity with hardened scales on sage is just.... tear inducing... +1 :D

If this is really your dad's deck then he was a rather good player, this deck is built really well. And yet seems like it would still be fun to play against.

It needs updating tho... look into chrome mox, cranial plating, thought cast and stoic rebuttal

Good luck youngLluke.

I worry about the draw power in this deck.... but then again, control can worth without it, casting 1 spell and turn and oft wreaking the opponents board .... i wish you well at FNM.

do you own this yet, or is it more a wishlist?

I do warn you though, mono black often finds it hard in EDH.

I would proxy this up and try to play, but i foresee you running out of mana a bit fast if someone kills off your card draw guys.. then again it could work.... dancer WILL be killed, FAST. Put Eel umbra in the side for decks that run shock, doom blade, dismember to counter this.

Good luck

RDW standard, looks fun to play.

Though I prefer line-breaker over athlete with battle rage in your deck..

A nice powered up illusion deck, with the lord in there it works rather well. The removal counter sweet is good as well, but I foresee you having trouble against big money decks...but then again this is a budget deck so it doesn't matter! :D
