have some gutturals in the sb, taking out mindberak? I know mind-break is form storm/jeskai, but guttural can do just as well agasnt those decks aswell?

Fun casual deck, but seems to also have an sb for modern?

Though i admit orb shuts down twin, it also kills this deck, if your going to have orb you need to have pendenhaven/ pendelhaven elder in the side to replace the captin?

All true, but like I said it all depends on the meta that this deck is playing in. I think its best to wait and see how he says it does, and then he can alter it from there. After you have decided on a list for a deck I always listen to advice but often don't act upon it until the deck has played a few games.

So maybe if we come back in a day or two this deck could be different...

lingering souls YES >.< AND spectral procession maybe? Also if this is a casual deck build is it really worth sinking the money/trades for the land? I mean i always save those for my main competitive decks... just saying.

Elf can produce any colour of mana your lands can.Though birds is more efficient, its also allot more expensive for just a little more early game consistency. Money wise? just not worth it.

I dunno any amount of swarm is good with sorin's +1, but I will admit this deck needs an sb with a a bit of removal, and proc for midrange, and mono red respectively. If those decks dont exist in the meta then it should do fine. BTW, on the same argument you guys are making goblin rabblemaster is bad, because it is easy to remove and just pumps out 1/1s.

though the deck is great! the one thing i hear about dusk-mantle is, "one turn too late".... that's just my experience . Apart from that the deck seems sweet!

ye, id run dark deal, taking the maggots and putting them into the side. Removing one disdainful stroke and the intrusions from the deck entirely. then again, that might not suit his meta.

ah correct, as the citadel has to tap itself to to get there, HOWEVER, orithopter island, island, ensoul seems allot more possible. And against allot of decks, more deadly. On the play at least.

I think your last card went array! But the deck seems solid for a deck, I recommended trying to get some extra copies of one of your walkers.

is sphinx's rev still high in price? If not have a look at adding that, and adding some 5cmc wrath effects... I think you can do it and still keep under £40 midrange.
