make it legacy and run one of each mox and a lions eye diamond?

Though I like this as it gains life and that baeats most mono red I worry that it might be a bit slow...
Budget gives you a section to buy play and work with. If you like it invest the money. So though I agree mono colour is more consistent and your deck isn't half bad, this isn't the point of this deck. The decks creator should really add a "if you have the money add this" to the deck notes though...like northy does with the SB of most of his budget decks.
also outburst is three. If you look at the spells that this deck is already running, adding another three drop just makes it too slow, also double red and may not come out when you need it to.
fair enough! I agree damnation is a much better choice in terms of card quality, so if you can get hold of one that would be awesome.
damnation is also $40 at least per. Crux is only about $10 right now.
cute! :3, 10/10 , op in legacy, synergy with aurochs herd.
also id think about adding some blood soaked champs in the sb, over the 5th impact (5ht o0o ...wtf?) and the 4th wound as you will only ever need to cast one wound.
As good a late game sink the berserker is... I think you would be better off taking him out for some dragon fodders... they deal two damage with tremors and they give you a little more meat to stall the ground...I would suggest outburst but that might make your curve a but too unbalanced...
sorry for the late reply!... Id go for three of ether or two of both (though putting in only two can make it come a little late to the party..). It really depends on what decks your buddies play and what you want to hit with it... if they play control you might want duress but if they play aggro your going to want despise...... would you be able to have your friends put the decks they play up on the site so we can take a look btw? It might help my suggestions for this deck. :D
This seems like a solid Teir3 modern deck! It has synergy options and can kill your opponent fast whilst also disrupting the board.I don't agree with killing wave though. If you have to get to the point where your spot removal doesn't work, then you are best of just flying over your opponent! even when you do need it, with the amount of mana your putting into it to make it worth it, you may as well play Crux of fate in that slot. I mean your creatures are going to be coming back anyway. Two notable cards missing from your SB:-Duress:- Its a great first turn play for you and will often hit the permanents you need in the anti control/twin matchup.Despise:- This card is narrow, only have it in your SB if you know your going to be playing "soul sisters" or "delver" decks, but in those matchups it works exactly the same way as duress.
relitlivly fun as well as being playable! The only problem with the deck is the lack of card draw... but in these clours your bound to get that problem.
to be fair.. this is modern and your trying to play control without remand, spell snare or cryptic command...those are the cards that fit in your deck... maybe slimgars scorn and add three silimgar drifting dead?
yep, but as long as you have a printer it doesn't really matter! :D
It works.. but with the value of the cards id proxy this if your going to use it as a casual deck.
ah, sorry... that's the one that is draw then sry right? Rather than sry then draw. But still.. ive seen cruel ultimatum decks do rather well in modern at my meta... as people tend to be allot more experimental rather than playing the solved decks... and though ill admit its not awesome its ok...
That is the one of the most upbeat responses i have ever heard on here about anything , i really hope you deck performs well! :D
so replace brainstorm with ponder and counter-spell with remand and the summit and catacombs for bloodstained more and polluted delta and this deck is modern?
cool but low portability... sweet for a t0 win tho....
great result well done! :D
