though the deck is fun id say this defiantly is in the lower tiers of budget decks you have built.

Doesn't mean its any less fun to play when played against other decks that are of a similar quality though!

having the ability to play both aggro and control is a real skill! If you manage to refine the red deck you should take both to FNM, that way you can see who registered and work out what decks your likely to face. After that you can use the most effective deck against them! muhahahah >:D

/\ this is good advice for sb. If there is allot of burn in your meta you might even pull 2 druid to the side to run 2 main-deck.

Solid budget deck, it can gather the bits for mono black devotion if it wants to go that route or it can gather the bits to go W/B warriors. Another good Friday night starting point to suit allot of local metas!

Where I am where mid-range is kind i think id go the w/b warriors route... I wonder what other people will do..

i was more thinking leyline of sanctity.... i thought more people ran RIP... than ran void but your right leyline breaks all graveyard decks..and in mono black this deck nearly just scoops to that.

I dunno... grapeshot does basically the same thing as ordeal, so it dies in the same way to leyline. Empty just makes 9999 tokens. Granted they have to live for a turn, but hey ho people are not going to expect it and therefore they arnt going to tech against it.

Also yes, getting the lands for that build literally requires us to sell organs for the amount of cash it costs.

don't get me wrong but doesn't this also just trigger normal storm?

so if I was MADE of cash I could try and splash red into this for empty? That way I can side out the gravestrom that is dead in game 2?

Move shamble shambles to the sb? They are great if your on the defensive but your other two guys are just more impactful. I would side in the shambles against white aura or heroic decks. Hope this helps!

I sort of agree with pushkin... I've always seen pinnacle as more of a control victory rather than a ramp one..

it all depends how deep the last colour is and if you have the mana to support it I guess?

I agree though, take it out for a test drive then give it a shot. :)

Seems solid for a causal deck.. but id not spend the money on path and id use condemn, its cheaper!

maybe replace a tempt and an outburst with trumpet blast for some more ability to go wide? Other than that looks ok for a causal deck. Keep it causal though any people playing "net decks" against till with probably make the game not fun.

Its a great deck idea and troll with the hawk is a cool combo, BUT remember to have blue in or available to your mana base with city of brass or mana confluence. Alternatively you could do it by having polluted delta with basic islands in your side, or hallowed fountains in your side with windswept heath in the main. This is because you will want spell snare or annul in your deck main 2 to deal with RIP. You also want natures claim in your side for leyline of sanctity.

With path you will want all the fetches you can run id say... maybe cut the thicket for some foothills or strands? I think strand is cheaper ATM ($12-33) so id aim for those. . . then again the foothills is good because it gives you to option to go into red if you ever decide to take the deck that way... I mean boarding into two Akoum Battlesinger and dropping two plains and adding two forges can really just blow up anybody in slow games when she comes up from a wave or hits t2 and mashes in.

as you lack removal I also recommend Drown in Filth as its common and gets better the longer the game goes. :D

for a t2 play you might consider jeskai elder as she allows you to loot on hit? I use her in my jeskai deck to fuel my delve.. but I only run 5 delve spells...

Also your sb is ok, but if your trying to beat control try having 2 disdainful strokes in the side instead of a rune mark and a elemental?

GJ on a early casual build though! Rather focused and you have removal. draw and protection in your sb!

Most decks should have some form of removal i guess? Lignfys most important text is "has no abilities" so it can shut down allot of annoying creatures, and its not a dead draw instead on a big effect like courage, as it allows your horde of fluffy fluff rats to attack more safely.

Though i get what you mean, this deck only has 5 finishers...but then again most of the time you only need to draw one...
