Forgot that about Green Sun's Zenith :( You are right there... Your land fetching is impressive and I like the mana base a lot! Only change I would do is adding Caver of Souls, maybe not 4 of them, but some.

Many Treefolk/shaman aggro decks run Lead the Stampede for drawing instead of Gift of the Gargantuan, you have a solid mana base, so I guess it is a good idea.

I started building a treefolk deck for modern using Doran as base, but I switched to shamans... I'm loving the cards I can play. Check it if you have the time. I took your idea and put some Tower Defense there.

I like it! IMO I'll drop the Greaves, I would go for Green Sun's Zenith instead of Gift of the Gargantuan as they can put Doran in play for 4 mana and even if you only have green mana.

As for mana generating creature... Sylvan Caryatid seems wonderful, gives mana of every color, its 0/3 hexproof and with Doran it does 3 damage as well! (Although Defender)

For protection Asceticism hexproofs everyone and can regenerate your trees. apart from that Amazing deck!

Yeah I already added Cavern of Souls, great target for elves. Chalice of the Void feels situational cause for the time you may have it, it is useless and not easy to tutor on this deck (lots of creature tutors). And common counters on my meta include Glen Elendra Archmage and Cryptic Command.

Another thing is Citadel of Solitude and Dosan make you invulnerable to counters, while Citadel of Pain and Price of Glory makes them pay a high price for them.

Thanks for the tips, Monsoon has not been working that well either (cause of dual lands, maybe put Ruination), Sword of Vengeance is a pretty good drop but I guess it can be switched for another sword (Fire and Ice) as draw is something the deck is lacking.

Blood Moon, and Magus of the Moon are already despicable in the deck, Land hate would make it evil, LOL. That is why I sideboarded almost all of it.

I can ser you are not running Sigarda or Aurelia, bit few things beat the pleasure of using Tooth and Nail to Go for Gisela/ Aurelia/ Sigarda on that turn.

2 x Gisela...
So far so good :) I think you will benefit a LOT with Tooth and Nail, Green Sun's Zenith, and Lurking Predators.

I already posted my reply regarding usual commander staples and what not. But for the theme you are going for (Humans and Angels for what I can see) I can recommend some useful and awesome cards to go with.

+ Luminarch Ascension is pretty amazing if dropped early and if charged... well... 4/4 angels for 2 mana without the need to tap. Spam away!
+ Moonsilver Spear more angels that you can count just by attacking :D
***Mentor of the Meek does wonders with small tokens, want some cavalry to go along?
+ Hero of Bladehold, this girl can really make and pump an army and make you draw a LOT with Mentor of the Meek.
+ Almost every Elspeth put a lot of soldier tokens on play, useful for drawing with the Mentor, aggro, cannon fodder, you name it! And she is super powerful in all of them.
+ Linvala, Keeper of Silence is an amazing control angel, probably top 3 of them.
+ Champion of Lambholt not only pumps herself, makes your army unstopable and protects you from aggro.
+ Doubling Season, it is miles better that Parallel Lives for 1 mana if you can afford it. Counters never seemed so awesome.
+ Archangel of Thune, expensive, but with some lifelink or life gain, makes armies unstoppable.
+ Victory's Herald, really cheap card, but your army can swing through the heavens giving you lots of life back.
+ Mirran Crusader, knights are always good and brave, this may be one of the best.
+ Asceticism gives tons of protection to your creatures, and can regenerate if something goes wrong.
+ Twilight Shepherd, resilient angel, and can save everyone from mass destruction. Put a +1/+1 counter on her after and she is as good as new.
+ Eternal Witness, I already expressed my fascination on this girl, and... she is Human! Get one if you can :D

One last recommendation... Balance out your lands. You have 58 white mana for just 21 green mana that can be spent on your cards. Maybe take out some Forest and put some more Plains. Play with those until you feel comfortable and consistent.

I hope those cards go well with the theme you want for your deck (:
(Have you tried putting Lightmine Field and Vigor on the board... Surprise!)

I agree with zniwalla, even if it is a 100 cards, and you need a lot of fillers, never put useless cards, I do a lot of commander decks (check my decks) and there are some cards that are stapples in the format. ***Note, I do get you can't always have all the cards you want for your deck, therefore you use the best you have, the next post have some recommendations for felipe1san and his specific idea for the deck, this post might help some.***

Some examples:

General: Sol Ring, Command Tower, and any Identity Signet are always desired (Selesnya Signet in your case). Chromatic Lantern if playing 3 colors is a stapple for me. Solemn Simulacrum goes well with any commander deck (land fetch, draw, and 2/2 body for 4 colorless mana? Any day!). Last but not least, Lightning Greaves and/or Swiftfoot Boots, although Sigarda can go without them. Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse are usual in 3 colored decks, consistency with 2 is ok.

White: Usually stapples are 1 mana removals, Swords to Plowshares and Path to Exile, some use Land tax (unless playing green), and Oblivion ring is almost always desired. If using lots of enchantments/equipments (Sigarda voltron deck), take Enlightened Tutor. I run Return to Dust as it is amazing utility. Serra Ascendant is a beast in the format with 1 or 2 colors (3 or more if playing lots of dual lands).

Green: Usually ramp, Cultivate and/or Kodama's Reach will give you GREAT card advantage and ramp, you can do more but those two will suffice (maybe a Sakura Tribe Elder). I prefer Krosan Grip to Naturalize, personal taste but one cannot be countered for one mana. Acidic Slime and Eternal Witness are wonderful cards I put in every green deck, and since Primeval Titan is banned, Oracle of Mul Daya is the best next thing. Green Sun's Zenith, Worldly Tutor, Primal Command and Tooth and Nail are great tutors depending on the deck.

Hybrid W/G: Well... Mirari's Wake is probably the best card there is in both colors, every deck that plays both should have it IMHO. Privileged Position and Sterling Grove are awesome cards to go with any deck specially if running enchantments.

Specific cards for this deck: Sylvan Library should go in any green deck without black/blue draw support, it is as good as it gets and with Abundance... well, Ancestral Recall without paying for it and choosing what you need. If going the equipment route for Sigarda, get the Stoneforge Mystic package (Puresteel Paladin and Stonehewer Giant) and get some equipments, any sword(s) (Feast and Famine and Fire and Ice are the best for her, even Sword of Vengeance), Loxodon Warhammer, Darksteel Plate, etc... If not going for a voltron deck (meaning buff your commander a lot and win with commander damage) usual graveyard recursion works well: Karmic Guide, Reveillark, Sun Titan, and friends (Eternal Witness plays nice with them). The other way to go Voltron is with enchantments/auras like: Indestructibility, Rancor, Bear Umbra, Eldrazi Conscription, etc...

Anyway, my 2 cents, some of those cards are pretty cheap and easy to get, some of them are not. Utility lands like Cavern of Souls, Boseiju, High Market, Cathedral of War, etc... go well with most decks. Specially this one.

Here is my link to the Sigarda deck I'm currently building/testing.

I would recommend Retether and more Trample on aura voltron decks. Reason is even if Sigarda is hard to kill, they can block it with a flying token for as long as they need to, and then with mass removal all auras go away if Sigarda does not happen to be indestructible, and even if she is, Terminus will hamper you hard.

I'll trade Ivory Mask for Leyline of Sanctity, just in case you happen to open with it. And maybe add some draw based on enchantments, like Mesa Enchantress and such. Mirari's Wake is a stapple on WG. Here is my Sigarda deck I'm building.

On that note I usually use Krosan Grip and Return to Dust as art/ench removal stapples on WG. Also White removal stapples on Commander are usually Swords to Plowshares and Path to Exile, both pass the Ulamog test. Try them out.

Here is the Sigarda Commander deck I'm currently building.

Thanx for the tips!! I'm more inclined into playing instants than enchantments to trigger heroic, because of targeted removal/damage on weenies, it also allows you for more versatility during combat phase on blocked creatures. But both cards you mention can actually replace the ordeals without any trouble! I want to test them out! Do you have a link for your deck?

Fabled Hero is good! Pretty good! One thing I tried to avoid is double costs on cards for consistency (thats why I'm at 2 cmc) there is nothing more awful that start plains and mountains in hand (awesome right?) and can't drop your Phalanx Leader on second turn :S

Hmmm I did a lot of trading over the time I built this deck, but I would say for this one specially it would be between the average and the high prices of this site like in the middle of both.

:D Yeah I know of "Ladies' Knight" it is partially where I got the idea of the name (and the fact that there are ladies which are knights XP)

It cost me a lot to put the deck together, cause I had myself put this restriction that I would only use rare cards (or mythic rare), and new cards (new card format print at least). It was a pain to select the correct cards to work together cause there aren't many options in rare only (for example, single target removal does not exist in rare white -.-), but after months of testing and getting the cards and building the deck, I can say it works wonders vs today's modern meta decks.

Glad u like it :D

Didn't though of Hex Parasite, and it is actually an amazing card and a Planeswalker killer! I'll add it as soon as I know what the hell to remove from the deck. Thanks for the advice!
