Is Wrenn & Six essential? I am in the process of updating my Ponza deck, and I have noticed some debate on the usefulness of the card.

How about Crosis's Catacombs and Crystal Vein? The Catacombs will come in untapped and produces all three colors. You just have to return a land when it comes in. You can even tap the returning land for mana before you bounce it. Crystal can get you a one-time boost too.

I have gone back and forth on this deck more than a dozen times. Sometimes it is minor tweaks and others it is huge overhauls. I could use a hand getting this back on track. It used to win a lot in my playgroup. For a while now it has been wildly inconsistent and I know it is because I can't stop screwing with it. Putting in more elves and less discard, I end up in games where I make everyone discard almost nothing. Too heavy on discard, I have no board presence. I tried to avoid "Megrim" and that lot because I thought discarding for damage would take too long, and be ineffective if they have no cards. Putting in "Gilt-Leaf Archdruid" at times seems hilarious, though I have to add more druids, and other times it feels like a distraction. What I want is a deck that empties my opponent's hands and then I swing with an army of elves. How do I get this back on track?

Thanks, I built an entirely proxied cube and it was a lot of fun. I wanted to build more constructed (proxy) decks for my friends and I to play with, but finding lists was next to impossible.

I think this deck is really cool and I'm going to try building it. I have had a lot of fun playing an entirely white-bordered "Chromium" deck I found online and this seems like a neat continuation of that idea. One question/comment; it seems like there is a lot of enchantment/artifact hate in this deck, is that for a reason?

Pretty cool looking deck! I'm working on a deck for this commander, but I'm doing it as zombie-tribal. It was nice to see someone else put zombies into this.

By the way, the deck gets it's name because there ain't nothing whiter than this deck when it is all white-border printings.

Due to unpopular demand, I'm seriously toning down the land destruction. I'm keeping a few and changing others to make it harder for people, not impossible, to play Magic. So "Ruination" is going in, and "Tectonic Break" is staying (because I can play it at lower setting). Also working on adding in land-creatures and spells to make creatures into lands to attack that way. Going back to some of the more value-based landfall aspect too.

Made a bunch of changes, starting from removing the "wheel" cards. They definitely worked, I'm just moving them into a different deck based on wheeling. I added more ramp to the deck because I'm frequently lagging behind for the early game. Also added some fun stuff that I don't get to use anywhere else ("Tectonic Reformation", "Bag of Holding" and others.

Looks like a really fun deck! I built a white-bordered Chromium deck I found online and I love it way more than I thought I would. So I know the appeal of white-bordered only decks and this definitely looks like something I could do. It would be nice if some of the cards had been reprinted since Unlimited, but oh well.

Maybe I have played too much Modern Warfare today and my eyes are going, but I don't understand this. It's set for commander, but it contains sets of cards and the name is spelled wrong?

What about running "Unmoored Ego" in the sideboard?

I like this build, but maybe it needs a little removal or some counterspells?

Update:

Cut "Neheb, Dreadhorde Champion" and "Olivia, Mobilized for War" from the deck because they felt awkward. Neheb especially, every time he is on the battlefield I don't want to lose the cards in my hand. Sounds like a great card for this, but I'm not sold on it. Olivia is the same, too many hoops to jump through for value when there are easier and faster ways I feel, like "Mad Prophet" for instance.

I try to make mine funny or at least have a description of why I chose the cards I did. :)

I loved playing it back when. No one expected land destruction, especially in those colors. It wasn't as fast or mean as the modern versions, but it wast just fast enough to take people by surprise. Sort of a "no one expects the Spanish inquisition" vibe.

I'll admit I'm guilty of not getting comments or votes and then not wanting to post as much. It's a little disheartening to see some of my decks viewed hundreds if not thousands of times and not be worth a click on a like button. Sometimes I work pretty hard on making the description funny or go into excessive detail on choices I have made when I update my decks. Sometimes I don't bother because I doubt anyone is reading. I mostly use this site to keep track of changes to my decks for my own use because I hate the format of other similar sites. Which is a shame, because the first modern deck I fell in love with (turbo fog) I found on here. I know we have had this discussion before and I don't want to see the site fail either, so I'll redouble my efforts. :)

I haven't updated this list in so long, 39 cards are different from the current iteration! Included in this round of changes is one of my all-time favorite cards in the deck, "Humility". I have found several more non-lethal removal/board wipe spells and plan on including the new white-version of "beast within" called "generous gift" eventually. The mana base has changed significantly too, some are cards that have been released since I first wrote this deck. "Fractured Identity" is fun to get rid of my own card-draw artifacts and give everyone else a copy of it to increase it's potential yield!

So...little bit of a change since the last time I updated this. The deck is now a land-destruction deck! I was able to keep maybe 80% of it and put in enough land destruction cards to make everyone curse my name. Cards like jokulhaups and obliterate would normally be bad, but with my commander and wrenn & six dodging the nuclear blast, I can recoup and take over everyone. Constantly recurring cards like strip mine and wasteland and dust bowl allow me to snipe lands over and over.
