no memnite/myr enforcer/mycosynth golem?
and how about thoughtcast or assert authority or stoic rebuttal?

Sol Ring was not printed in a modern legal version. The ones with the modern card border are only from special sets like commander, which isn't modern legal, otherwise we would be seeing a lot of TNN in modern:)

maybe 2 or 3, the instant speed is not that important, but the one mana might be if you don't want to give them a turn to untap/respond to your big dude

Nice Idea, i like the thought of a rivalry between the different ally clans! have you given any thought to Prey Upon?

Interesting idea, although i would use something like Serum Visions instead of Divination, or maybe think twice.

thanks. the cipher plan might work, will see what you do with it. personally i prefer the more control route, as it utilizes the power of the vials, especially if you draw two, and it hinders UWR and other control decks.

Most of the Times, I prefer to draw the Dragon, instead of taking out all my creatures, and just having one big vanilla guy. I still play one, since it is good as a sort of removal against some decks, maybe a living End or a Merfolk.

I like Vial here, since you can flash your creatures in, and if you have it on 2 so you get to flash in your lord, that lets your creatures live, or it brings down a couple more points of Damage. Also, you can keep up Mana for your Control Route, while still putting down threats. Trickbind is a nice idea, I'll have to see what i can take out for it.
And by the way, you don't need to break things for them to be good :)

looks nice, you can't use evolving wilds in the current standard though, it was m13. For Mana Fixing i would recommend some combination of Sacred Foundry, Godless Shrine and Blood Crypt

that's true, but I feel like three is too much. I'd use two and another Phantasmal Dragon.

Great Deck, +1!
I definitely like the idea of High Priest of Penance, he is just awesome!

May I recommend High Priest of Penance and Sin Collector/Castigate/Tidehollow Sculler and maybe Hide//Seek?

I would highly recommend some different Lands like Cavern of Souls and Mutavault, and also some Aether Vials.
Also, Kira doesn't protect your Illusions, so i wouldn't recommend using 3.
I have made a Variant of my own, check it out here: http://www.mtgvault.com/rhodanperry8/decks/the-unreal/

Looks like a good start to me, if you want to go the route of jaces phantasm i would recommend some Archive Traps. Also, Cavern of Souls is a great land to have with your illusions, as well as Mutavault, if you are not making a Budget Version.
I have made a Modern legal variant myself, check it out if you are interested!

looks good, i would definitely add Aether Vial and Cavern of souls, they just seem very powerful here plus maybe thassa, and manaleak/Remand should do well definitely. Also, i would go with the phantasmal dragon over the Ixidron since he is a 5/5 for 4 all the time and doesn't switch off your other creatures. maybe also some combination of Gitaxian Probe/serum Visions

Well, you have a point there, however I don't think nissa is all that complicated. On the subject of the heralds, i still think they should be left out, so whoever is playing this deck can get there first experience at the local FNM.
