GyKx, agree that it is important to be respectful. Anyway, my tip is to consider Might of Old Krosa :)

Personally I've posted most of my decks just to keep track on all of them, but would value anybody's input as long as they don't insist on me adding Power Nine Cards....

Rangel, if this deck were to hit the Pauper format, you would also have to remove Rancor. But I would agree to that Infect makes some of the best Pauper formt.
GyKx, you don't think you're overreacting a bit here? The deck you've created is a fairly standard budget infect deck which there are dozens off, so offcourse people will have different opinions based on who they play against socially.

Since you're not going 100% cats, you should add some more Puresteel Paladin and Ancient Den for its Metalcraft. You could also benefit from Swords and Umezawa, if that is within your budget range.

Loose Giant Strength and add Might of Old Krosa to give some extra punch. The added punch outbenefit the lack of surprise in this deck.
Add some Inkmoth Nexus to further speed things up, if your wallet allows it.
If you go for an early "all in" win scenario I would replace Artful Dodge with Distortion Strike for that added +1.

I like the concept, but it might be a bit slow if opponent is heavy on the aggro.

Similar concept decks which I've had much fun with:

I agree, and it works especially well in combo decks, where the aim is to just stall your opponent :)

I know, it just means I have to take another card out of the deck. Which in turn slows the deck down.

Yes, my friend has a deck like that. The problem with those decks is that it is either a win by round 3/4, or you've lost all together. So not much for casual playing :)

Appreciate the suggestions but I don't think I want to replace hardhitters with a defensive card like Merrow Commerce, and I don't have any combination with merfolks that taps. If I start to replace punch for defense, I loose the game. The Cavern is ok, but since deck is mono-blue it is just the counterspell effect that helps. A bit costly card for only that effect. Also a bit afraid to include mana that can't bring out the Aether Vial

True, as most combo decks you may have to go searching a bit. I am usually able to get it going by round 3/4.

I like the combo Punishing Fire and Grove of the Burnwillows. Remand is there because it card draw ability get my combo out more easily. I agree that this is not a very social deck :) But sometime we just whip out combo decks like Thopter, Splinter, Pod and Pebbles just for fun :D The decks I post are mostly decks I've already got stacked up

Yes, but Cloudpost gives a higher and faster mana rampÄ when you combine it with Vesuva and Glimmerpost. Unfortunatelye Vesuva is rather expensive. Expedition map is another easy way to get the lands that you need.

You need a much faster mana ramp to get this deck moving. Cheap cards like Cloud Post, Glimmerpost and Crop Rotation can get your deck moving much faster.
