One thing I could recommend: Grave Pact.

TIGHT! Sweet combo. +1 simply because it's a rat deck without Relentless Rats or Thrumming Stone.
I was actually thinking about going the Demigod of Revenge direction with this and adding Cauldron of Souls/Cauldron Haze. Other than Demigod, I can't really think of any creatures that beg to be in this deck, so I just stuck with straight persist. If it doesn't play test well, I'll throw in him along with Seedborn Muse and maybe Ferropede, Quillspike, or Devoted Druid.
+1, btw.
Agreed. I run a Pandemonium/Stalking Vengeance deck. Drop a Krosan Cloudscraper to have to deal 13 damage, then Fling it for 13, then it deals 13 when it hits the grave. Of course, Gratuitous Violence would double that ludicrous number.
Relaced Torment with Flourishing Defenses.
Duh... Shows how much attention I pay to detail.
I would definately recommend getting rid of Desolation Giant. Borderland Behemoth is a good option. I would also suggest adding some dual lands if you're dead set on using green. How often is a forest going to come up? Not very.
I must point out that the person that taught us how to play Magic was a notorious cheater. He also introduced us to Warhammer 40k, an in both instances, he taught us rules that would let his armies/decks win almost every time. We don't play with him anymore, and we HAVE started to migrate back to the real rules (some of us, such as myself, far more quickly than others).
This deck rarely has more than one copy out with the exception of Minion Reflector, but I just wanted to point itout before someone made a comment along the lines of "too many legends." Ususally, when someone joins our group it's someone who has never played Magic before. So we teach them our backwards rules, and then when they have the hang of them one or two of us will teach them the REAL rules. They usually say ours are more fun simply because it's WAY easier to play when you've been drinking for several hours. Godo is amazing period. He's one of the staples of my Barbarian deck and, in probably 3 out of 5 games, the one I use to swing for 100+ damage per turn. Unfortunately, my friends' Legend decks are rediculous. They started playing around the time of Invasion, and I joined up right around Onslaught. We all know how powerful the guys I missed out on were. Gerrard, Sisay, Tsabo, and the like. Hell, one friend has a deck built around the Elder Dragon Legends. Theres probably $300 worth of cardboard in that thing.
We decided the legend rule made games last a little longer and we just want to burn through games (we were in high school and had to be at school the next day usually). I think it's kind of silly now, but some of my friends have decks that only have legendary cards in them and they'll never go back, I'm afraid... Whispersilk Cloak is mostly just to get whatever creature through that has Spellbinder on it, and then it's usually only Godo. The only reason I have three in here is to make sure I only have to rely on Godo to search for one or two Equipment cards. As for mana, this deck gains A LOT of life, so I can afford to take an extra turn or so to get going, espeically because we always play 3-5 player free for all. The Rituals/Rites are really just there to keep turn 3/4/5 from crowding so much.
What about Buried Alive + Noxious Ghoul + Patriarch's Bidding?
hmmm... I considered Phyrexian Arena, but I'm just not sure what is going to work in this deck yet. Avoid Fate would also be nice, but it would really only be there to protect Dense Foliage. I'll play a few games with it and see what I can rearrange. If only Word of Command wasn't $44...
Way sick.
lol. Good old hipponox. You always know how to make a girl blush... I've built a couple Trisk decks before, but this one just seemed to fall together when I decided to go for broke in the zaniness sector... The old Trisk + Mephidross just doesn't seem so awesome anymore. I just wish I had more Mana ramp and countering power. I saw your OPINIONS deck right before I checked for comments on this one and was planning on going there next anyway. It was meant to be.
Based on my limited knowledge of tourney/1v1 play, I think you've got a pretty solid deck. Obviously the multiples are missing, but every card you have in here is solid at worst. PS - Living Tsunami is AWESOME! I've never seen it before.
I agree. Just thought the whole "beating karma" theme fit.
I have no spells to target my creature. Abilities are still open.
Agreed. The best part if this deck is that when you run out of things to kill (I'm considering adding in spells to make lands creatures so I can kill those, too), you can just ping Triskelion with himself and pump him up... Wtf?
Dude, whay would you have so many singles? I know you're going for the Buried Alive thing, but come on... Out of 36 spells, you can only play 27. What are you going to do with teh retarded draws you are inevitably going to get?
