Ah. Then I retract all of my previous statements referring to grammar and sentence structure. My bad. I also play with tactics. I just think it's fun to see how crazy you can get.

Actually, I'm just saying that because I know I have alex pissed off and I like to capitalize. I agree with you. Burn, creature removal, and counterspell decks are my worst nightmare. I might work on adding a few cards to deal with it, but, because it's a casual deck, I'm not worried about winning them all.
And +1 because Aethercraft is a douche.
Maybe you could add some other way to put a massive amount of counters on him and some cards that could deal with Spellbook (just in case). Underworld Dreams would also help the win.
Just finished a play test on that insect deck. I had a 120/120 turn 9. If there would have been a 10th turn, he would have been around 400/400
Play test had a land played every turn up til turn 6. Turn 2: Whispersilk Turn 3: Phantom Turn 4: Hierophants Turn 5: Ant Queen (ability for 1/1 token) Turn 6: Living Hive (ability for 1/1 token) Turn 7: Alpha Status and Whispersilk on Living Hive (ability for 2 1/1 tokens) Turn 8: Seedborn; Ferocity on Phantom (ability for 2 1/1 tokens) - swing with a 24/24 Living Hive for 24 1/1 tokens, killed Tim - 5 1/1 tokens during Kevin's turn - 5 1/1 tokens during Alex's turn Turn 9: Coat of Arms, Doubling Season (ability for 40 tokens) - swing with UNBLOCKABLE 120/120 for 120 tokens, kill Alex - swing with 4 37/37's, kill Kevin
Ever notice how similar Aethercraft's and thealextheory's posts look?
Sorry... I humbly thank you for your kind words nuke, knight, and nox. (hurray for alliteration) It's nice to know that someone has my back.
I noticed. I already shut him down once today in some poor kid's Insect deck. Dumbass. BlitzHellion, AEtherCraft, and thealextheory are all on my shit list. Every post I have ever seen from them is about as dumb as a sack of wet hammers (and about as useful). Some people should not have freedom of speech.
I was referring to Mishra, Artificer Prodigy. I personally believe he belongs in every artifact deck ever. This is a baller deck. Most artifact decks are. Alex just doesn't understand that casual play exsists. Speaking of Alex, I love how he said he could pound me into the dirt. If he's talking about Magic, I'd love to see him try because I couldn't give two fucks less. If he's talking about real life, I'd like to see him try. If he's talking about a battle of wits, I already won. It's called PUNCTUATION. The world will take you much more seriously when you can form and convey a thought coherently.
Might I recommend Mephidross Vampire or Blade of the Bloodchief?
Defense of the Heart is the ultimate, "Well, I've been mana screwed the whole game... Let's catch up!" card.
I play casual Magic in free for all games of 3-5 players. I might take 1 or 2 damge the first couple of turns, but there are a lot of other targets. Usually turn 3 is safe to get you first creature out. That's when Phantom hits and I have a creature that can take whatever attacker comes. Hierophants hits turn 4 for mana accell, and anything in the deck can come out turn 5.
I never insulted you. To be ignorant is to not know something, and we all have things to learn. A statement of fact is not an insult. Notice how I said that my Insects would take any TWO of your decks. I recognize that there is a difference between the one on one Magic that most people on this site play and the three to five player free for all matches my friends play and take this into consideration when making comments. I build my decks to be able to beat three or four people, where as yours only need to beat one. Sixty life as opposed to twenty. Three attacks to block as opposed to one. Now, as for me thinking that you're dumb... I never said that. Ignorant, stupid, and dumb are three completely different words with three completely different meanings. You are putting words in my mouth and I don't appreciate that. I did most certainly NOT think you were dumb until you illustrated so elloquently that you were with that halted, garbled, poorly thought out excuse for a post. i only call it how I see it, and what you showed me was not that impressive. I'm sorry you took offense to me merely pointing out that the reason this site exists is to help fellow Magic players understand the game better instead of burning down their ideas and choices in cards. I hope that in the future we can be more civil towards each other and towards others who use this site. And Fanboy, I would like to apologize for the both of us. The comment board of a deck is not the place for such childishness.
lol. Ok, maybe I was exaggerating... More like -50. I'm just really tired of super-competitive tourney players not realizing that some of us play this game for fun and ignorant people just loging in to say a decks or cards in decks suck and not offering any advice.
Hmmm... Seems your own point helps to prove mine. All I'm saying is thjat it doesn't matter what's in the deck, it's how well it works together. And could we watch the language? There might be young people here and I don't want them to see how ignorant older people can be.
Oh, and to the alextheory and counter2control, my insects will destroy any two of your decks at the same time.
Alex, every post I have ever seen you make says that the deck (or cards in the deck) sucks. Try bringing something constructive to the table before you open your mouth. You people need to lighten up. Not everyone plays in competitive tournaments. If a deck is CLEARLY not for tourney play, shut the hell up. Now, with that out of the way, I recommend Phantom Nantuko with Seedborn Muse or Momentum (or both!). That will take care of most of your blocking, especially against slow decks. I would then suggest Living Hive with that Whispersilk Cloak (and maybe a Coat of Arms) for your aggro.
alex certainly hasn;t proven himself to be a great deck builder in my eyes... He's probably one of those people with 8 accounts that -1 votes all the top rated decks because of his bitterness that his aren;t good enough to make it there. All I could recommend is Mishra. Mishra, Mishra and more Mishra. And then some Mishra.
And this would be a pretty fun deck just for funsies. Ante lands if you must...
