You could still get a turn 3 if you had a stacked hand, or a turn 4 if you drew the mana. But I wouldn't rely on having 4 mana by turn 4 unless you're also running some kind of accel. So, you're right, most likely would be turn 5. But at the same time, it'd still probably be worth side-boarding if you face down somebody with a lot of destruction.

And with 200 some decks, too :P Really, I don't know how yours get noticed to quickly. It's almost like you're an MTGVault superstar :P But yah. Thanks for the props :)
That... I don't know why I didn't think of that. It's a very good idea. I could gank whatever I please and bounce Knowledge Pool back to my hand before my opponents get a chance to respond. I'll have to consider that, it'd change the deck around quite a bit.
I'm just saying, don't expect to be able to get a second onto the battlefield. ;) But having two does have it's benefits. Unless you replaced the Everflowing Chalice with an Ornithopter, and ran some sort of {B} creature recursion.
The only problem is, if you Shape Anew into Blightsteel, and he is subsequently removed.. you've no more artifacts to Shape into again. The second Blightsteel you're stuck hardcasting. Then again, the benefit is, you're not likely to draw two Blightsteel, whereas you might draw one and mess up your game.
On second thought, what about Darksteel Axe? It costs 1 (works with Trinket Mage, but would not allow for a 3rd turn Shape-Anew if brought tutored by the Mage) and is Indestructible, safeguarding you against most common forms of removal. And.. if by some chance you hardcast BSC, you can give him +2/+1 :P
XD Sweet! My first top-decks deck :D If only Greg would implement a messaging function with the new My Friends system ;P
Ah haha, back to square 1 XD What I meant to say in the first reply. I'm glad you like it :) This is perhaps my favorite card spoiled from MBS, just because of all the shenanigans (plus it was spoiled /with/ like a 2 page errata o.o)
Aww :( I was mistaken. 116.3c If a player has priority when he or she casts a spell, activates an ability, or takes a special action, that player receives priority afterward. 116.3d If a player has priority and chooses not to take any actions, that player passes. If any mana is in that player's mana pool, he or she announces what mana is there. Then the next player in turn order receives priority. Oh well, that would have been too sick ;) So yes, you could get your Gravetitan still if you had an instant available and the mana to cast it.
I'll have to freshen up on how priority works. I'm pretty sure that once a player casts a spell or activates an ability, priority is past clockwise around the table, and each other player has the opportunity to respond, before the initial player can cast another spell or activate another ability. In this case, they try to cast Grave Titan, it is exiled and replaced by whatever, priority is passed to me, and I cast Memnite at instant speed. My Grave Titan :)
It actually shuts down a lot of decks :) Once it hits the field, opponents can't do anything they planned without playing my little game first. Well, I shouldn't say shut down, if the opp already has greater table presence than I do and crap cards are top decked, it's moot.
Edit: So in order to respond to Emrakul, it would already have to be on the stack.
It would go onto the stack second, and resolve first. But casting a spell is the act of paying it's costs, and moving it from your hand onto the stack.
:O That would be sick, but Knowledge Pool is triggered when a player casts a spell from their hand. If Emrakul is on the stack, he was already cast, and therefore would not trigger Knowledge Pool.
Oh, no. Pools are included. They are the Sheep Tokens (added for sample hands). I dropped 1 of everything that is currently a 3x of. Augury Owl, Master of Etherium, Ornithopter, and Lantern of Insight.
I thought of that, but in the end I decided all or nothing. I'd rather have the 4x Leylines for the possibility of opening with them, or none at all. Only benefit Leyline has in this deck is opening with it, otherwise hardcasting it disrupts the all important 4th turn drop. I might still change my mind though. Leyline has the benefit of being immune to artifact and creature removal, while Shimmer Myr has the benefit of dropping 5th turn via Transmuter.
Oh! I meant to add in Leyline of Anticipation. Honestly, I've never owned a Leyline, so I keep forgetting about them >.> The question I've been trying to weigh out is Leyline vs Shimmer Myr. Leyline will allow for a first turn drop, but will be more difficult to manage after Knowledge Pool is in play. Shimmer Myr would possibly stall me for a turn if hard-casting, but can also be cheated onto the Battlefield after Knowledge Pool is in play. Entire idea is to cheat in my good cards with Master Transmuter, and donate my junk cards to the Knowledge Pool Exchange Consortium (ltd). And I never said I expected to win against your Shape-a-Blightsteel-Colossus deck with this, just that I'd enjoy running the decks against each other :P You're right, this is very much a dick around deck. With the potential for a 4th turn Knowledge Pool, it's really made to mess up combo decks, or have fun in multi-player.
Have you considered a pair of Elixir of Immortality over a single Everflowing Chalice? I suspect you're not planning on kicking the Chalice.. I don't think it's really too significant of a change, I just like having the option of shuffling my graveyard -- more counter spells, etc.. On that note, I doubt I need to tell you this, but hold your counter spells for Into the Core, Revoke Existence, Disperse... etc.. your deck looks solid enough to get BSC into play fast enough, whatever else the opp is doing shouldn't really matter since he is essentially your only win condition aside from Skithers. (Plague Stingers are good to get the poison started, but I don't often see them win the game). There's a few good ways of removing him, though, and I doubt you'll want to spend your hand getting him into play by turn 3 only to have him unsummoned :3 At any rate, like the deck. I'd have fun playing against it with my MBS build. I know it isn't standard, but still.. http://mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=138704
Fact: Sarcasm is a literary device that employs irony to expose the folly of self or others. Fiction: You were sarcastic. Without irony, you cannot have sarcasm. Your fail-trolliness amuses me ^-^ Or perhaps, it's your utter ineptitude that amuses me... either way ^-^
Btw, you're /still/ missing Imperious Prefect and Elvish Promenade. While you're at it, Keeper of Skybreak as well. Those three plus Elvish Archdruid = win. Wait.. they just keep coming.. Presence of Gond, Joraga Warcaller, Stampede Driver, Wall of Blossoms.... Hey, I think I just made my own deck.
