Deck Description

So the idea I'm going for is a Rhys the Redeemed commander deck, but ment to be more on the social side than competative.
I've always enjoyed elves and token armies, so this is my second work of a Rhys the Redeemed deck.

How to Play

The intent is to tutor out the elves I need using Wirewood Herald, Fauna Shaman, and Skyshroud Poacher. After I've got the start of the army, using excess mana to build on that with tokens and +1/+1 counters on creaturest that benefit from it. I've also got a Helix Pinicle on the way for the deck for an alternate win condition, which is just faster with Doubling Season.

Planeswalkers are in mostly for token generation, which has its own obvious strengths, but the other abilites were still strong if they are left alone for too long.

Sorcery cards are pretty self explanatory. Land grabs to get the mana rush and because I've always felt that land not in the deck is a better chance for me to draw the cards I need. Card draws for obvious reasons, especially since green and white seem to be lighter on increased draw than the blue decks I seem to face all the time. Token generation to combo with Rhys and build up the overwhelming force.

There aren't many instants in here, which is also why a Bottled Cloister. Once you have the cards in your hand, best to give people as few chances to make you discard them as possible.

It should be noted that since my friends and I do a version of horde (we have multiple horde decks we face at once, anyone curious can ask in comments and I'll try to explain) that this deck is intended to be competative but also be able to work with a team. I know there are a few "no fun allowed" cards that would make it stronger (I'm looking at you Iona) but they kind of hose the fun that we play for.

TL;DR Pull out elves and lands as fast as you can to give you an army. Buff them as high as you can and swing for the fences.
