How to Play

Leading off with a turn 1 IOK or Thoughtseize, then following up with a Rack, Shrieking or Waste Not, then topping the curve off with a Liliana is the general line of play.

The game is then proactively causing your opponent to discard before they're able to continue their own gameplay, and gaining huge value from your enchantments and artifacts.

Keeping your own hand size low is key to exploiting Ensnaring Bridge to avoid taking any damage.

The interaction between Dakmor Salvage and Raven's Crime is amazing, making sure you have a land each turn to pay the retrace cost is essentially a soft lock

Deck discussion for Proactive discard

I feel Waste not and bridge can be a 3 of if you run 4x small pox, or 4x waste 3x bridge 3x small pox.
The reason small pox is super good in the deck with waste not is you're only really going to lose a land where:
they lose a creature(you have no creatures so nothing happens to you.)
they discard a card(any one of the 3 effects from waste not count as drawing a card)
you both sac a land(oh well its not like we need more than 3 lands ever.)
8-rack is my modern deck of choice, I just need to pick up my last two Waste nots to replace my bitter blossoms.

Have you actually done testing with the deck or just a brew as you have no sideboard?

Yeah just a brew so far, I'm looking to put in a sideboard but I just got sidetracked. I wasn't sure about smallpox since I thought I'd be proactively dealing with creatures with my targeted discard in the first place, but I'll consider it. Thinking about it, it seems with Waste Not on the field it's simply an unfair card. Thanks for the feedback

You don't always take creatures, it depends on a few things:
1: which deck are you facing
2: what else you have in your hand(if you have a small pox and then only have 2 lands let them play the creature and get more value from small pox, even if you get hit once not a big deal)
3:what will be a bigger pain in the long run

As for the Sideboard I you generally want to run:
4 Surgical extractions(bring in vs any combo, jund or UWR, being able to make exile combo's win condition is just gg.)
4 grafdigger's cage(pod, vengevine, you can bring one in vs Pyro ascension)
4 Leyline of Sanct( Burn, mirror match, etc. You want 4 as it gives you a better chance to have one in your opening hand)
last 3 spots depend on your meta, aggro is the worst match up for us so i use drown in sorrow, but this is completely meta dependant.
