True Conviction would not work with the deck. Almost all of the creatures already have double strike and the card is too high a mana cost to play in the deck.

Tips on improvements and sideboard additions would be great.

The problem with duress is that once it's on the field there is nothing that you can do. You may want to add a few negates and cyclonic rifts or just plain enchantment removal. You could just add a card like endless ranks of the dead to just overpower your opponent

The biggest problem that your gonna face is trying to get out the rooftop storm so that you can pull off the combo. As soon as people know that your playing a combo deck they will sideboard against it, adding enchantment removal. Also, this deck will really struggle against cards like scavenging ooze and RIP so you may want to think about adding solutions to them.

I personally would not run the red. Hellrider is good but not essential. Also, black has so much strong removal currently that you don't need all of the burn. You could always turn this deck into a more token aggro kind of deck. Add more intangible virtue and then add thraben doomsayers to help pump out those tokens. You could even run growing ranks to pump out more guys each turn.

This deck's biggest weakness is wrath that wipes out all of your field. I like that you have boros charm for giving your guys indestructible but you can always just use rootborn defenses instead.

Shadowborn doesn't really work as most of the creatures you control that are dying are are tokens and all the creatures you control are normally quite important

I would prefer to run tribute as it would better against decks with indestructible and hexproof creatures. Something that you see a lot of in the current standard metagame

That's fair enough. You can get it cheap online if you want. Just as a little thing for you to look at, I took your deck and made a few alterations. It might give you a few ideas on how to improve your deck.

Let me know what you think of the changes.

Another couple of good cards that you could add to the deck are:

Vault of the Archangel: Make all of your little creatures big threats
Sorin, Lord of Innistrad: Pump out a little token every turn and then buff up your own creatures or get loads of theirs

So here I post a link to a deck that I made. I started by copying across your deck idea and then putting my twist on it. Tell me what you think

My only complaint about this deck is that you dont really have that many creatures to sac. I would run lingering souls over gather the townsfolk as you will be able to get more creatures to sac. Xathrid necromancer would suffer a bit but not enough to make it worth while keeping in the gathers.
I would also recomend that you cut down on the amount of removal and add more cards that can benefit from the sacrificing such as Varolz and maybe add some cards like silverblade paladin or fiendlsayer paladin for great humans that can benefit from the Xathrid necromancer.

As your running mono black you may want to add cards that benefit from the number of swamps you control, perhaps a corrupt or 2

I personally don't think that the chromatic lanterns are that important. Yes your playing 5 colour but you have manaweft slivera to help with mana ramp anyway. You could always consider adding cards like farseek into the deck instead of the lantern.
