No, if I do it before the declare blocker step, they will be unblockable to the creatures of that color

Brave the elements can be used for that purpose as well... it can also be used to make creatures unblockable..

Thanks! Usually Kavu predator becomes the target of removals the turn it comes out...
another card to consider is Hunters' Feast.

I like the Safe passage Idea, but Basilik Collar is a little too costy :/

I would give some protection to your Kavu Predators... i.e. Canopy Cover
also gives evasion as well...
Nice deck overall!

Finally! I've been waiting for somebody to build a scarecrow deck (I was too lazy to do it).
This looks awesome! :)

A few silence and orim's chant wouldn't hurt....unless you're on a budget....
because a playset of orim's chant is enough to buy you a few good decks... but silence I would definitely add.
Nicely done overall. :)

Thanks! I'm glad you liked the deck!
I replaced shimmer myr with leyline of anticipation and shattering spree with vandalblast.

Thanks for the suggestion!
I added in 4 wall of vines, as I don't have much defense in the sky. What do you think of Rage Nimbus?

Instead of overrun, I would use overwhelming stampede...

here's the official ruling...
403.4. Whenever a permanent enters the battlefield, it becomes a new object and has no relationship to any previous permanent represented by the same card, except for the cases listed in rule 400.7. (This is also true for any objects entering any zone.)

actually.....
once the creature is in the graveyard... it comes back as a new "thing", which mean it doesn't have persist anymore, so cauldron haze would only work once... :/
