Am I the only person who thinks that proliferate and infect have no place together? Don't get me wrong, this is a decent deck, but just think of how much faster it'd be without proliferate dragging it to a halt like a ball-and-chain around the ankle.

sorry for ranting. Your deck is nice in all honesty, I just have some strong opinions =]

Needs Dark Ritual for that "Turn 0" entomb/exhume It That Betrays hilarity.

lol double-post. Anyway I have the mox opals in there because of some crazy shenanigans I can do with them and Glint Hawk, such as playing out my entire hand on turn 1, thus having a massive board presence right at the start.

At first glance it seems like a messy "hodge-podge" of stuff. But when you play it out, it actually flows real nicely. I like it.

Untamed Might and Wing Puncture have to be two of the worst cards I've seen in a while, and Withstand Death should be called "Delay Death". I would suggest taking those out ASAP. Also, what exactly is the combo? Lastly, you don't need 24 lands. Especially with your mana curve (which is pretty nifty to be honest).

All in all:

-4 forests
-4 Untamed Might
-4 Wing Puncture
-4 Withstand Death

+16...better cards. Now I don't mean this to sound mean, so please don't take offense. With 16 new cards coming in, you're looking at a rather drastically changed deck (plus if your combo is what I think it is...we're looking at more than 16). I think you should try to figure out what it is you want this deck to do, and then work from there.

simply because it costs too much to play. It's nice that it taps other things, but it's just too much =/

@Redrum and Cragos. As I've said before, the math in this deck's build is really strict. I just can't put those cards in. If there was a black one-drop creature that said: "Sacrifice a creature, draw a card", I would probably work it in (It'd most likely replace Death Cultist). Now that said, I DO have a means of drawing cards if I am having trouble. The lovely spell "Unearth" also cycles =] And it's perfect for the math of this deck. It's not a one drop or a two drop, it's a 1.5 drop! It counts as 2 of both. Thus, 27 one drops, 9 two drops, and 18 lands (it's more complicated than that, but this is a pretty nifty example).

@ Anizer: While I understand your concern about the amount of lands, I promise you in real play, it's not a problem at all. I also think that the computerized randomizing process for the sample hand is a tad flawed...It's "too" random. Now, if you want to try an experiment, take 30 sample hands and play them out in your mind up to turn 5. Additionally, whenever you see a Grave Pact, instead pretend it is a Swamp. Now repeat this process, but as the deck is now...

I really do understand your concern, and I appreciate it too. Yet, while I'd normally agree that most decks (of 60) need 20 lands, this one truly does not.

Sweet deck =P

(I'm just being a jerk. I love dragon decks so I look forward to seeing this finished)

I always get a kick out of "hate/anti" decks. They're often terrible against most other decks, but just trash their intended target. This one is no exception. I would suggest using Shatter and Nature's Claim though.

Yep, they just don't fit haha. I do have a deck that uses Perilous Myr though, since the little bomb-on-legs amuses me to no end.

I'd find a place for Bloodchief Ascension, Liliana's Caress, Suffer The Past, and maybe even Painful Quandry. Otherwise very synergistic EDH deck.

Yeah I agree that it's an underrated card. Now if Deathgreeter was one of the first cards for you, how long have you been playing? It sounds like not too long?

I'm sure it doesn't. It's still a good deck, it could just be so much faster than it is now.

You should sideboard a Nephilim. Just kidding, but this deck is pretty sweet (and mean). I only wonder why you don't have any islandwalkers? Other than that, nothing I'd really change.

Looks pretty good. My only suggestion is that you take a look at some more cards of this type -- There's a whole lot of cards that are either cheaper and/or stronger than some of what you have. Still, a good deck.

This is a surprisingly effective deck. Nice work. Followed Footsteps is pretty cruel with this idea.
