It would be funny (and ironic) if you milled yourself with this deck by over-drawing.

As it stands right now this deck is too slow. I suggest taking out the Piranha Marshes, Ruthless Cullblades, Kirkana Cutthroats, and Child of Nights. And then add in two Blade of The Bloodchief(s). 60 card decks are by nature (and math) faster. Also, you will find that with a smaller and faster deck, you also won't need those tutors and can add in some other good vampires like Vampire Lacerator, Vampire Hexmage, Quag Vampires, etc.

If you would like to take a look at my Vampire deck for some ideas the link is here:

Turn 1 : swamp, all 4 dark rituals gives you 9 mana, play buried alive for 3 demigods, use the left-over mana to cast your last demigod. Swing, win.

Granted this happening is VERY unlikely, but still, I'd better get one hell of a cookie. =}

I'm assuming your windstorms on the sideboard are for everyone's "favorite" angel. If so, I'd suggest instead using Plummet. Also, maybe replace one of your Ezuri's with a 4th Monument. That's my two cents.

Hey you commented on my deck so I thought I'd take a look at yours. I have to say, a landless deck seems pretty crazy. However this is a really nice deck you pulled off. My only wonder is...how many of these cards do you actually own?

I dunno if burn would "fit" with the deck, and Uril has all the protection (I assume that's what you meant by pro) he needs. I made an Uril EDH deck once and it was brutal. He's a god in EDH =}

(also lol double-post)

Haha I never thought about those guys. I use them in my level-up deck and they ARE amazing. Maybe I'll try them out.

Haha thanks. The Frost Titans are the only really pricey thing in it, so you should be able to put it together for a relatively cheap price.

Yeah, since Tempered Steel is not targeting him directly.

Hey no problem. I've always liked Tangle Angler (mostly because it's so much fun to say), but if you're one of the few infecters, then hell yeah spam out those Ichor Rats.

Sounds like a really annoying deck to lose to. Pretty cool idea though. Maybe also look at Æther Figment.

Livewire Lash and Infiltration Lens will make this deck way better. Ichor Rats and the Contagion clasp might be good to take out in place of Necropede and Tangle Angler. Ichor Rats seem good, but they can get you killed against another infect deck and/or a proliferate deck. Also try out Virulent Swipe instead of Disfigure...with infect I don't think you need it.

Bloodghast is easily in my top 5 favorite cards ever, and yeah...he's insane in this deck. Sacrificing multiples of them and then playing a land is just nuts, and often game-ending when they have their haste. You are correct that he doesn't work in every environment, but if you're looking to make him into a prize-fighter, then try out this deck.

One thing I was wondering is if I should take out the Nimbus Wings and replace them with a playset of Hyena Umbra.

Strange you would say that, because I've tested this deck with changes including all of those cards, and none of them worked well enough to push out the other cards in here. Abyssal was the hardest choice. He is truly a beast, but his downside (which obviously can be dealt with by sacrificing him) was often difficult to deal with even with how this deck works. I also tried using more lands, but actually found myself having more lands than what I wanted, so I tried 18 and it just clicked. Viscera Seer is one I may consider working in, since like you said, it adds a nice stability when I need it.
