Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Go onto the offensive from the very start with strong, low-cost elves and other creatures. Rhys should come out as soon as you can play him. The idea of the deck is to spam out creatures either by playing them or generating tokens, then swing for the hills. The reason you want Rhys out so early is for the life-gain. You want to swing with almost everything you have every time, so the life gained will give a nice buffer in place of blockers. Eventually, the life-gain will override any damage you would take, and you will start increasing the gap between your life total, and your opponents'.

so far i like where you are going with the concept of this deck. What are your 3 favorite 60-card decks and your 3 favorite EDH decks that you have made? Sorry if I'm bothering you. I'm just curious.

Thanks, I've always loved Wither (it's better than infect) and so I wanted to incorporate it in here =] As to my favorite EDH decks, they are (in this order) Seizan, Teysa, and then a tie between Ulasht and Rhys the Redeemed. Not entirely sure what 60 card-decks are my 3 favorite...Probably my latest Iso-Seek and PAL designs, but the 3rd...I dunno

The people in my group always get more annoyed at infect than wither haha. I think it's waay underestimated. You might want to include a contagion clasp/engine in here for giving away a bunch of counters.
Contagion Engine or Contagion Clasp works really well with Flourishing Defenses, so I'd say they're a must. I think you can get infinite ETB's with one of those, Blowfly Infestation and Flourishing Defenses, as long as someone has a 1/1, btw. You should try Geth's Grimoire... :P

i like the idea, but i dont like how un-elfish it is. you are lacking many of the cards i immediatly expected to be in this deck -- scarred vinebreeder, viridian emitionary, wirewood herald, caller of the claw, gamekeeper, masked admirers, symbiotic elf, Glissa, elvish soultiller, and of course the Nissa Ravinae + nissa's chosen sac outlet engine. i would most definately drop some of your -1/-1 counter focus for some of the cards i have just suggested, though it's your call. i was also thinking that birthing pod, Sanguine Bond, ageless entity, Dross Harvester, Well of Lost Dreams, and skirsdag high priest could be quite formidable. and Nefarious Lich, though terrible, could be funny.
Y'know, you make a good point. The only card I have that really benefits from the -1/-1 thing is Flourishing Defenses...and I don't really need it that much. I'll refocus this and just put Wither shenanigans into my Kiku deck =P
Alright, re-adjusted it, then tested it out, and it managed to defeat Wumps' Teeg deck...so the changes are good =D
MUCH BETTER! and if it beat The Teeg, i'd say it's a good 1st draft. this has definately inspired me to make my own Rhys the exiled EDH. it'd be a fun thing to drop in a GSZ and a primeval, cause then you could primeval > urborg + Cabal Coffers. that would be pretty hilarious. and a Volrath's Stronghold would also be a good fetch target for primeval. galgari germination would also be nice. And i forgot to mention this, but i am issapoint you haven't put in bitter ordeal. What library?
The thing about EDH is that Extraction just doesn't work...even at the levels of Bitter Ordeal. If an EDH deck is so lacking in versatility between 99 different cards, then it's going to lose regardless. Everything is weak to Extraction...that's the point...but the way to beat Extraction is versatility, and in EDH versatility is king.
i really like your EDH decks and would like to come up with one of my own, but have never really gotten around to it. (<--excuses Y_Y) I really loved your Maga EDH and was wondering what you thought about a Fleshwrither EDH. With cards like Sewer Nemesis, Mortivore, Abyssal Persecutor, Ashling the Extinguisher, and Bloodline Keeper. Im not sure how it would pan out, but again id love to hear what you think about it.

Well that's what i was curious about. Would Fleshwrither work very well? When you transfigure him(or wtf ever it is) wouldn't it return to the commander zone to be played and transfigured again? Idk I've just got a shitload of bee's i'm not claiming i can make honey :P. That's why i'm asking you.

Only roffellos, Braids, and Erayo, Soratami Ascendant are banned as generals.
Then rules have changed since I last looked. The explanation I read for having banned Rhys the Exiled made sense. Apparently it was because of the {B} in his ability contradicting with the rule of not having any mana symbols that are not the colour of the general (Rhys the Exiled is strait green). Maybe the rules I read are very old :|
They changed the rules to refer to "color identities" which is any colors that appear on the card. That's why players can use blue spells with Memnarch.

Yeah, that's why this is B/G, a Bosh deck can use Red, and my buddy's Thelon EDH can also use green AND black (Not sure if it's just his awesome design, but Thelon is a damn good general). So I'm assuming we will soon see a WnB Memnach EDH of epic douchosity? =P

Memnarch was my first EDH deck ^-^ Wasn't the best, but I had some fun little shenanigans with Top & Magus of the Future for retarded amounts of card draw, and Mirrorworks & Master Transmuter to dump out lots of big nasty creatures (and Mirrorworks is another enabler for Phyrexian Dreadnought, I think?)

Of course. The colors of your EDH deck are dictated by the "Color Identity" of your General =]

Oh, well you can see a few mono-colored EDH designs in my decklist. Just click on "organize by deck type" and go to...probably page 3-4 and you'll have all my EDH decks lined up =] If you're planning to make a mono-white one, I HIGHLY suggest putting in Shrine of Loyal Legions...it's freakin crazy in mono-W EDH decks =]
