I liked your deck. Was a fitting fight for my Gruul aggro Deck. http://www.mtgvault.com/surrealialis/decks/domri-rade/
Basically you need Trostani or I need Domri. If we both have or neither have than it's a top deck war.

I think Wolfir Silverheart would fit better than juggernaut. The only bonus I see from Juggernaut is that it could untap when an opponent attacks for a surprise block, except you're not going to suprise any one and if they are attacking then they have a better creature anyways. But Wolfir adds a lot of attacking power just by himself. He also beefs up another creature you plan on saccing, and late game if you draw a slitherhead you now have a 5/5 possible blocker or sac target.

I think it needs a low cost wall type creature...

500+ $ deck with 56 cards and banned cards. Where's the originality?

I just read that aura discussion a few posts up and completely disagree with aura's being bad. They DO take a lot more thought process and timing to be played but often provide very strong benefits. Auras in decks are not used in competitive play because 7 of 10 decks in low level play are defensive control... imo of course

Auras with flash, cast or recurrent effects are always good though.

It almost always comes out super fast. I've been playtesting it vs all the decks I see on the front page and it's feeling pretty hot!

noob mistake on green's suns. I was using it to fetch creatures in my multicolor deck and forgot the 'green creature' tag.. too bad :(

I made a deck like this over a year ago and made almost all the same mistakes.
KoNAlara and aria's are all too slow. I used the knight with the three colour two drops, hushblade, hackblade and thoctar. I ended up dropping the knight because they were faster without her, go figure.
Nicer to play two more two drops or thoctar and a buff than a knight of new alara. I had to figure that out by play testing. Maybe it's the metagame here, but she loses me speed every time I play her.
I took the ancient zigg out of my old deck because I liked to run a few utility spells, but I may put it back into my idea of nayan stompy.

I love green's sun's zenith in a kiln fiend deck. It's so easy to find your combo creatures. 3 mana for a kiln fiend no matter what and 4 for the spitfire. I've recently made a with the same exact idea. But kiln fiend is a popular combo with red. Even in my regular red deck he can still come out and kill people after turn three.
also, have you considered fling? Basically a faster win when you can get him up to ten but can't finish with the attack this turn.

As soon as I saw the livewire I giggled, glad to see the chain of comments bring that into your deck.
Very sexy, and using all my favorite new cards!.. First time I've wanted to use someone else's deck idea.

Even so, most of the sample draws I went through killed by turn two. Maybe a turn later if they get bolted.

A modern reincarnation of the stompy Shazamdaman mentions just sounds like elves to me.
Which is really fun with the elves out there!

Thanks for the links! It's funny, one of the first comments on the infect stompy mentioned naya.. That's the deck I'm working on right now! Extended right now because I like the cards, but standard in nayan colours would be really fun.

Some obvious inclusions in there of course (thoctar), but it's more the proper numbers and play testing that make a deck like that work well.
Most draws I can conceive a win condition by turn five - on top of having already been swinging (5 power creatures coming out turns 2-4 and ripping things up already) Toughest hinge I think is performing under heavy lightning bolt fire.

If you feel like taking a look and making any suggestions. I'd appreciate it.

Most of the decks I've made since the first (obvious aura combo from rise) have been stompy, I just didn't know what 'stompy' stood for.

I have/had standard legal versions of this deck often. My first deck ever made.
I could take yours, 'specially if I sideboard in the blue vs control.

Does your stompy friend use MTG vault? I really do love that play style.
And what's your favourite stompy deck that you've made? (I'd hate to browse all 7(+?) pages of your profile while I should be studying)

Some of the land choices confuse me. I've tried to make the woodlot and the bridge work and they just don't seem to ramp like I'd like them too. Also, why choose darigaaz's caldera? especially with the joiner and the prismatic omen.
Have you tried bloom tender? Combine with any simple 2cmc multi color and that's a lot of ramp.
