i like liche's second ability for whenever i gain life, i draw, but i do see your point that they contradict. its mana cost is also iffy to me, so thanks for pointing that out. I really love your idea with sanguine!

that was my concern when revisiting this concept, and in that old deck i only had for life gain children and souls, which i just have as shields from big creatures that don't have trample. For the most part the cards i have in there are causing me to lose life, which will keep me close to 0 life, which was kinda the dynamics i was looking for.

I really like your deck! It kinda reminded me of a deck that I tossed together earlier this year, would love your feedback on it:

But your deck gave me some good ideas of improving mine, which I've just posted an updated deck:

Thanks for the inspiration and good luck getting your friends to play you now!

Hilarious use of Efreet, esp. with the use of indestructibles! The only cards I'd might add, maybe more for sideboard would be Fate Foretold or Keiga, the Tide Star.
And if you wouldn't mind, I would appreciate you input on a deck I'm looking at putting together for FNM:

As for shenanigans, I coincidentally made one this morning:

If you wouldn't mind adding a deck description of your idea / purpose with this deck, and I would be more than happy to give some better feedback on this.

I love this deck! My only suggestions would be to somehow add vexing shusher and savage summoning.

If you are really going to make this into a deck, and the comments above I agree with, though my take on it would be to make it black green because of the more mana ramping options you get with green and elvish piper would be equivalent to quicksilver.

I'd suggest mana wise to keep it around 16, but instead of just mountains I would run 3 of both scalding tarn and arid mesa to thin out your deck a little and get mountains out quicker.

I actually liked this concept a lot and made my own spin off deck, http://www.mtgvault.com/urinduil/decks/speed-up-the-game/

I would love your opinion on my deck if you have the time.

Have you looked at the much older goblins, there are some that are great one drops to work with your grenade

idk, your deck feels unnecessarily slow. I would suggest re-evaluating your creature setup then go from there.

I don't know if artifact lands would help, just a thought. Have you consider running mycosynth golem, tezeret the seeker, or feedback bolt?

oh, i failed to read your deck description and how-to-play, which now makes perfect sense for why the mana and spells are in there. my apologies.

Your lands could use some working on IMO, and what is the point to having retract and hurkyl's recall?

proxy a set of black lotus, chrome mox, everflowing chalice, mox opal, and sort for mana acceleration to bring your baddies out, as for other cards to setup your theme of collosus, I would just go all out artifact creature deck.

Really good setup and choice of commander, I would suggest somehow adding tar pitcher, goblin firestarter, goblin assault, maybe run goblin lackey or warren instigator.
