I find prison decks are just overall better vs the field atm.
They have great matchups vs eldrazi and affinity not to mention burn, aggro and combo.

Only have to worry about tron which isnt that popular and gbx which is maybe 5% of the field.

R/W prison
U/W prison
B/W prison
Enduring ideal

Have such a great play right now, good matches vs like 70% of the meta :D

While serra is obviously a great card, i am keeping it modern.(nykthos is meant to act as my serra in modern)
Basically meant to attack this eldrazi and affinity filled meta.
Also having great matchups vs burn, boggles, tokens etc.
Only really weak to tron and GBx.

The deck is super fun to play and tou can make certain hands fold to a turn two suppression field. (A lot of people forget you need to pay the two mana to crack fetches)

You also have a bad match vs GBx, honestly having 4x suppression field in the main deck is REALLY good.
Control isn't an "easy" match, a good control player will know what to kill/counter.
plus they can bounce leylines or tax effects.

you have a low land count for that curve, should be 24-25.
Also you don't need 4x sigil 2-3 are fine.
Nevermore is also MEH in a lot of matches, better as a 1 of in the 75.
also having 1 oblivion ring allows you to hit other players detention spheres.

yeah it honestly just lets you shit out elementals while sacing them to deal 3 damage per land.
plus triggers any other landfall abilities you have out.

You have 4 extra slots because you put 8x herder.

Why not 4x wall of shards then?

I agree, I honestly think sword and wall of shards have to be a 4x in the deck just because of how perfect they are.

Use Spectral Procession instead of hordling.
Just better overall and has evasion.

Land tax? only needs to proc 1 timeto get sweet value.
Even if you're discarding lands it helps thin your deck super fast helping you draw only buisness.

Not trolling, just pointing how flawed and terrible this deck is.
one of the most flawed decks to make the hot page honestly.

He posted it on MTGsalvation also under modern deck creation, kids a troll and a terrible deck builder/fact.
There is nothing fun and creative about this deck besides chalice... which you could make a much better budget deck around...

Won't you just deck yourself before your opponent does because of the card draw+narset?

I have played TONS of modern and watched even more... modern IS a turn 4 format for the most part, not in the sense of the games being over, but in the sense that normally by turn 4 the game is largely in favor of one player.(few exceptions for grindier decks like tron, control etc.)

But if you're playing burn, combo, tempo or aggro chances are by turn 4 you've either:
Won
Lost
out of gas and losing due to meh top decks
out gassed opponent and could win with any number of top decks.
opponents slower deck has fully stablized and you have almost no hope besides them making a bad read or mistake.

In the end even as a budget deck this deck could be MUCH better in a number of ways,
but the OP chooses to keep bad cards in like:
divinity
bliss
wall
sunbond
and too many copies of offering.

Virtue isn't going anywhere, I may tweek the creatures slightly, but so far there hasn't been an issue.
bitterblossom while a great card(I own 4 in paper) you generally bring them in vs infect, affinity or other aggro/ tempo decks to either race or just fog you for a few turns.
As much as I would love to play them I could only see putting maybe 2 in the sideboard for the reason above.

My meta is still shifting from the bans because people are still working on the decks they want to play.
once that settles i may tweak the deck slightly.

As it stands the creature/token count hasn't had any issues.

we're in a good spot where the deck is a bit of everything so its hard to fully hate out the deck post board.
We can go wide with tokens or just beat down with bobs and pyros, we can play the control game better than most decks atm.
Tons of utility out of all of our cards, etc.

Great suggestions though.
If my meta shifts more towards zoo, affinity and what not I will try to get 2 blossoms in the main deck.
and hit the 4th pyro.

I find tutelage isn't good enough if you actually wanted to make this competitive.
Siege, jace and dig would be more than enough.

I was going for more of a control build, I have enough card draw to make up for the "lack" of token cards.
Lilly doesn't really fit in a "token deck" but she goes really well in a control deck and can win games by herself.
Also paired with our Bobs, walkers and other card advantage spells we can generally generate enough X-1s that we win by value alone.

Timely is here mostly because of the 4x maindeck bobs.
Plus it really helps us game 1 vs burn, affinity and zoo.
Even if it just fogs for a few turns.

Well it is a budget deck compared to a lot of modern decks.
Hell my mono black 8-rack deck that i own in paper is 800$+

Once you get into 3 colour decks like junk or jund you start to see real prices...
This deck is a budget modern deck.
