seems like a good idea, or you could start control and side into it lol, people would side for a control matchup and you would go combo

The only problem is how narrow the deck is where if they can just kill your living lore you basically just lose.
its a fun deck and would be fun to see it win:P
we all make these sweet gimmick decks for the johnny in all of us.
let me know how testing goes

you sir a insane... Sorry for stating it how it is...
painters servant is fine as a sideboard card, you are seriously insane if having 1-2 in the sideboard of a coco list is a bad idea... on the play you literally cripple their manabase...

It's clear you don't understand how to evaluate cards so i will just leave it as that.

honestly planeswalkers are great with extra turns as it allows you to ultimate them, i don't think you can go infinite because lore exiles the spells.

Just because wizards broke a deck doesn't mean path still isn't the best choice...
please stop being stupid -_-.
over the history of modern, path, dismember and cut are all better.

its an etb trigger therefore it should trigger the ability...
its the exact same idea as any clone creature, they enter as a copy, its not a cast effect, its an ETB effect.
the combo works.

Theres tons and tons of combos, what it comes down to is what is cost effect(CMC to value ratio)
which basically depends on if the cards in the combo are good on their own and if its hard to build around them.

some combos just take too much set up.
you want to stick to 2-3 card combos.
You can have extra combo value cards in the deck if they fit, but most of the time not worth it.

Path is the best removal in modern... what are you smoking...
dismember is a close second(its first in a deck that can cast it without paying life)

You generally can win turn 4-5.
But with enough ramp you can pull off a turn 3 win.

Not sure how the eldrazi match is lol, but with less countermagic in the format doesnt seem like a bad idea.

Another idea i was toying with was a eidelon of rhetoric, kira, the glass spinner, probability storm etc.
Just not sure how to go about it.
Kinda want to go a co-co route with reflector mages and other tax effects, aetherswon cannonist in the sideboard lol.

Thanks, i was trying to find a way to abuse the idea besides the known KotR combo way.

scooze is fine and so are firewalkers...
burn can easily beat 2 finks, burn cannot beat 2 firewalkers.
firewalkers come down a turn sooner and make everything burn has much worse while chumping everything.

I can agree with this.
Plus painters servant with firewalkers post board is great.

Because when i was talking to you i was saying hierarch is just better than pilgrim, when i was talking to the op i was saying i understand that he has budget restrictions.

Its one thing to post the best and greatest deck list, its another to post your work in progress.
Burn isn't ever a huge percent of the field, so when building a deck thats made to have a great match vs 50% of the field why have main deck hate for burn which is like 1-8% of metas. (Generally smaller stores have bigher burn metas)

He has 3x scooze and 3x forewalkers... thats enough.
If burn is bolting your creatures that is great for you.

I feel if you wanted a "finks" effect baloth would be a good sideboard option, but yeah i agree with you more than this guy. I understand you have budget restrictions.

Pilgrim is terrible... just use noble hierarch.
I can agree with dropping his charms (even for like vials, or dismembers or like you said a few KotR and some removal like dromoka's command.

The human tribe is super weak atm, and this deck doesnt want coco.
It relies on its ability to cast cheap spells and have cards you can discard to reality smasher, kol command or other discard and land it in play.

Yep, and sometimes someone else can name off a card you didnt even know existed.
I love playing fringe decks, or meta specific decks.
Theres just something about winning with non-meta decks that makes me happy haha.

I love to brew, atm im into enchantment combo decks.
Mostly because they seem well positioned.

If you ever want help with decklists a place i spend a lot of time is mtgsalvation. The forums on modern deck creation (even have budget sections) a lot of decks get anywhere from 20-100+ pages of comments.
They have great primers (a huge overview of the deck, the cards to include and why, match ups, sideboard tech and decklists.

I will normally just read the primers for decks i will never play to understand what theyre trying to do so i understand how to attack them when i play them with other decks.

Great place to learn.
