Dryad is also a techy way to mess with Storm players, and Dredge. Blocking Ill-Gotten Gains, and Dread Return respectively.

I can't blame you for not being sure about running both Misdirection and Force, it's quite risky, you're right. I've been keeping about three of them in the boards when I can swing it, but I can definitely feel it having both in a deck.

There's actually a lot of valid reasons to be weighed about the inclusion of Guttersnipe, but the main problem I have with adding him is that the list only runs eighteen lands, and even then I have eight spells that make me sacrifice land.
For a slow burn he's amazing, he increases the damage threshold farther than anything burn has seen, but he's too mana intensive for easy casting in this landbase.

Now this doesn't mean I don't plan on making a burn deck with him, it's actually one of the projects I'm tinkering with.

Stormkirk would be another body to lose to the vast myriad of kill spells in Legacy, and can get blocked. Boros Charm does four to the dome, so while it costs more it's the better choice given the format I find. Bump in the Night is great because it does three damage, I don't mind that it's sorcery speed, it's three damage.
Red Burn has a lot of power, I won't deny, but right now it's less powerful than splash builds. This might not be the best Burn deck, but it's incredibly menacing nonetheless.

Well I had been planning on using full playsets of Griselbrand and Jin-Gitaxias with Fury of the Horde, but that wasn't winning quite insane enough. So I just filled up with the two most insane creatures ever printed.
And yeah, this is one of those ones that just kind of stumbles onto hilarious wins sometimes. I've had people wipe my field after dropping both Progenitus, and Grisly, only to cascade again because I drew into an Outburst with Grisly's ability XD

Interesting, Thespian's Stage is definitely a powerhouse in an XX-Land design. Certainly have to look into testing them in my own.

I find it interesting to note that despite the few discrepancies between our designs, yours plays quite differently. And while it does have an effect on speed, I can't say how much breathing room the single copy of Entomb over the fourth Mox grants. Welcome to the vault Artemis!

How is that not significant? The only design of his you posted was infuriating to READ

I'm reading through the set today, trying to get a feel of the new cards, and seeing if I can't make anything cool out of them. Still trying to make something for Tibalt too, he's too cool to leave alone.

I won't lie, I did forget about the vault, but I'll probably not leave it till it shuts down. And yeah, things are looking up now, but still a bit chaotic feeling.

Some rough patches here and there, but overall pretty good.
And did you really think I was dead? I know I've been gone a while, but I didn't think it's been THAT long...

Hmmmm.... I love it. It's the tech advantage of a Reanimator, but with a more direct pace thanks to Storm! I do believe it is tinkering time again, it's been too long since I've wanted to mess with something this badly.

I wouldn't say it's quite as bad as storm, but I do dislike them both. This is just something I had to do since I remember Joe's list feeling like what it lacked was more cascade at three mana, and when I saw Shardless Agent I knew it had to be done.

I'd not bother playing a list like this against you, it'd be much more fun to see which MBC would win, or if I really wanted to be the dick who played a combo deck at a casual table I'd go for the kill with it, and run Doomsday Storm :P

Eh, fair enough. Especially since it seems Sure, Joe, Ethan, maybe Dag and Ded even have left. They had been a real positive force in this community.

It's neat, and cheap. I like it man! It might not be as fast as Painter's Stone, or have the same compactness of VoidHelm, but unlike them it actually looks fun. Despite some of the more... Excessively hateful designs I've made that's what I most look for in a deck.

Also, while your response to NinjaStyle might be a much, it gave me quite the giggle.

Venser is always a neat response, but generally I prefer to just play Misdirection. It doesn't say Abrupt Decay can't target your own things :D
Black Bant can be really powerful, but in my experience it feels like you're playing a watered down version of either Bant, or Dirt. It's a lot more powerful if you keep to one or the other, just requires some tinkering about. Adding Abrupt Decay and Thoughtseize could work beautifully, but the thing you have to worry about other than dilution is the landbase.

Spell Snare is a such hoser, it and Dryad Militant can be some seriously powerful tech depending on your meta.

Always been a fan of beatdown style bant, it's stupidly fun to play, while having a better game against combo than Dirt.

How's it faring you without Spell Snare, or the Natural Order package? I've not been in for a season or two, but it seems like they'd still be as maddeningly powerful.
Another good question is how is it faring in a post Abrupt Decay meta, that card is a serious hoser for beatdown decks.

Blind Obedience might be one of the best cards printed for Iso-Pox in a while, have to look into tinkering again because of it I suppose. How's life been Sure?

I don't mean within standard, but within reach of being beaten by Standard. I'm starting high powered, and scaling back to see how it'll do is the idea with this.
And thanks, it's a fun deck so far in testing, but I wonder if it's fast enough a shell to thrive in Modern personally. I hope you enjoy it if you run it though!

It's been too long since I've seen a deck like this, and Chalice is probably the best replacement for Nether Void. It makes me happy knowing there's still debauchery like this in MtG

They went well, but I forgot how stressful it is having that much family in such a small space >_>

Devils are kind of epic for tribal it feels, and I really hope they get continued support. And as for Valakut, I mean in general. It's a good thing, but without anything to do multiple landfall in a turn it feels a bit wasted.

And sexy new vault is sexier than expected, or hoped. I love it

Runechanter's Pike would be a powerful addition, but I wouldn't really consider adding more than two, because between it and Curiosity, I'd have the equivalent of five equipment cards. The thought of it on Delver in this hilariously powerful here, but another card it clashes with would be Grim Lavamancer. :/

My friend suggested Guttersnipe with token spells to me a few days ago, and I set about forming a rudimentary version. What I noticed it lacked was counters and a decent clock, so this is what it came out as. Curiosity on Guttersnipe is a trick that I wish I could take credit for, but I was told about it by one of the local players.
