I figured I'm going to lose to Affinity anyway, so I might as well admit it. And I wanted more Teegs because he shuts so many cards down it's insane.

$500 USD for a Tabernacle isn't as steep of a hike as it sounds, but it is still a hike. I usually buy from TCGPlayer.com and prefer to select them from ChannelFireball, as they've done me the best.
If I have the money though, it's a trip to Comics Plus.

So I've been running this since you posted it, trying to get a feel for it, as it's been almost a year since I've even thought about PAL, and I have come the conclusion that it's just as awesome as I remembered.

I did however find that I'd often rather see a Tarmogoyf instead of Fatespinner, and I say that as somebody who LOVES Fatespinner. It's a singleton, and while epic and powerful, it's not reliable enough to really warrant it I feel. A third tarmogoyf advances the aggro back to old standings, and isn't an uncommon number nowadays, even in decks not running GSZ.

Also, because it's me, I ran Undiscovered Paradise instead of City of Brass. I think I have a problem.

Thirdly, I did this.
-2 Flusterstorm
-1 Daze
+2 Spell Pierce
+1 Orim's Chant

SB Changes
+2 Flusterstorm
+1 Teeg
-1 Tarmogoyf
-1 Kataki
-1 Mox Diamond

I see you're familiar with the source of the name, I'm mildly surprised, even if it is you. My thoughts were either this, sa dai foc la puscarie si la casa de nebuni(to burn the prison and the madhouse), or Hell hath no limits. :D

Even with a land base such as that, with all of the mana denial it brings, I'd rather not drop below three copies of Contamination. I can see its merit, but I also see the flaw that it lessens the greatest strength of the deck game one.
Perhaps two I can see, dropping the third for a Therapy, but I'm skeptical, and honestly afraid of this strange world that we'll have post M14 rules change.

Also, I've been testing it to see if I notice anything :P It's such a tight list that I prefer to not say a terrible idea.

Mind Rot could be replaced by Wrench Mind, which has the same effect for BB instead of 2B.

Dedwards has some really good ideas about decks like this, I however have no idea what to do with sacrifice outside of Bitter Ordeals, or Grave Pact shenanigans.

This is one of those ideas I've never been able to work with, but I love trying, and what you've done here is really nice. Illness in the Ranks is kind of epic here.

Just thought I should have more mana denial, what with M14 rules changes coming up. DarkStage/ThespiansDepths is going to be a thing, and I want to make sure they realize just how much fun that makes it for me. Winter Orb with Mox Diamond and Rishadan Ports is always nice too, so I figured why not go full douche mode.

Also, surprisingly I'm loving Curse of the Cabal. Being able to make them sacrifice walkers, enchantments, ect. Is stupidly handy. SB is more or less the one from Amore e Morte, but I'm considering putting another Curse in there, it's that epic.

And I look forward to seeing it Ticklyfish! Also, if I could have played in that period and kept a few playsets of Wasteland, I think me and my wallet would get along a lot better... It with Crucible and Bloodghast has been one the interactions that shaped my Pox decks this way, getting a chiseler /and/ blowing up Maverick players land base? Yes, very yes!

Parfait is really fun, it just takes so freaking long to take a turn for some people. I used to hate it, but most people are okay with just putting the lands you get now thankfully.

In EDH both parts are super fun, but Scroll Rack in some games is just bonkers. Dead cards in hand? Not anymore!

It definitely runs, I wouldn't say smoothly, but it's fun as hell. Getting three cards a turn off of Scroll Rack is insane, but this thing isn't as stable as Iso-Pox even.

Path with Psychic is fun, but really it was for Land Tax to be honest. I run the full playset of PtE in all of my Parfait attempts, but here is where it gets the most use.

I might've found it so if half of my group wasn't counted in their ranks.

I feel dirty about Thespian's Stage with Dark Depths, and have to agree with you Artemis, but I deny I plan on at least /trying/ it XX-Lands.

I'm excited that I won't have to listen to Standard kiddies whine about somebody dropped the walker first, but I'm sad that Legends are now essentially stupidly epic creatures, and I can't Phantasmal Image them to remove them.

Oh yeah, I remember people playing freaking Ad Nauseam in the thing shortly after they just skimmed the Menendian article. They got over the idea of playing Ad Nauseam Doomsday pretty quick, they underestimated the number of times they'd just be bolted for the kill that way XD
This deck has more going on when it goes off than a fighting game, I've had the joy of seeing this line at the end of one of my MWS matches "ERMAGERDIDONTEVENKNOWWHATJUSTHAPPENED". It was awesome.
And for the lack of a consensus, trying to get an optimal Doomsday list is trying to make the perfect toolbox Storm. And because not many people really want to play it, since TES is simplistic in comparison, and ANT might as well play itself.

Doomsday is like a bad super villain, spouting a monologue of their entire plan, but unlike bad super villains, you win.

Also, sorry it's taking me a while, I'm a bit sick lately.

I would love to see what you build! It's been a while since a new vaulter who tries to build something more than standard comes up, and even longer since one as polite as yourself.
And I'm sorry to hear about your friend, it's always a tragedy when somebody close leaves us behind. I'd be scarcely the person I am today if it wasn't for the passing of those I knew, through hardship we find ourselves more than in good times.

Depths being a thing again is why I'm running the XX-Lands suite in a few frames for testing. 4 Wasteland, 4 Rishadan Ports, and a Ghost Quarter. I refuse to let that nuisance bite me again...

And I think the smartest trolling this site got was probably Awz?, and that wasn't mean spirited thankfully. Just a dude who liked the ever broken combo of Bonesaw and Storm Crow.

I can see that, it's just you always get the stupid ones it seems. Granted, it's free entertainment while I wait for Game of Thrones to continue, but I wouldn't mind seeing them if they put some effort towards creativity for it.

Also, I can dig it with the poxes. I find myself going to the 2:4 a lot of times in game two nowadays, and it's starting to make me think I never should have left it. Especially now that Depths is a thing again... Cast ALL of the poxes!

It's reliable with the cantrips, but if I was to leave Meditate, I'd probably go to running Infernal Contract in the main deck actually. UU might be less constraint than U2(despise the band), but BBB is only a ritual away, and I run seven rituals as well as a Rain of Filth thanks to you. Draw four piles are harder to construct initially, but once you get them down, they are actually a little easier to go off with.

Oh do go on, I love watching you kill off your brain cells with such inane drivel, it's quite the show. It's a mind-numbing experience for you, and a mild cathartic for me.
