I LOVE Reanimator, it had the tech to deal with EVERYTHING. Every Survival deck I've seen scopped, if they couldn't stop my first creature it was game.

And I would actually like to see your lands deck, I'm still testing around it myself, and while I understand each piece, I'm not sure if they happen to be optimal.

Anything I've tried seriously is still up, the best one was oddly enough the Sauron deck... I don't know why, it just devastated storm.

It's about as annoying as ANT though, but without the weakness to mindbreak.

Oh, I see thoptertop... It can suck my balls, I hate it almost as much as ANT.

And I'm not really playing anything serious because of the Mystical Tutor banning ripping the consistency out of Reanimator's everywhere... I'm thinking about sloooowly amassing a 36-lands deck, it's pretty stable, and it seems more fun than joining the ranks of the hated and going storm.


I too am a broke highschooler, so I'm in a similar boat. I just get asked to build decks for people, and somebody even wanted to pay me for the reanimator list I have up, until MT got banned.....

I don't think you understand my luck with artifacts, I have seen hands of nothing but platings and moxxen on a regular basis... For some reason I'm forbidden to run artifacts, and can't beat ANT.

Ad Nauseam+Tendrils of Agony, it's an annoying tournament deck in Legacy... For some reason, even with things MADE to kill it, I can not......

It IS hella consistent, but it doesn't usually see any resistance itself, the spells it spits out do. The problem arises, that I just have terrible luck and always see multiples in the same hand if I run three lol.

Makes sense, but luckily we don't see that many storms over here(we all find them a bit douchey).
I'm more accustomed to NO, Countertop, and the little crap fish does. All of these find themselves with heavy creature support, so I usually would rather a Thoughtseize than a Duress.

I traded to get the OTK, but there is a chance of OTK'ing white weenie, and tokens.

I gave up on EDH when they made my favourite creatures worthless. They banned Braids, and using Memnarch as a general means I can only make colourless mana... CURSE YOU WIZARDS!

You've no idea dude, I've just finished a lands deck... I have never before, nor had the intention of, researching that archetype.
I usually make my decks in about five-ten minutes, but this one took me three days of research, and still has some testing left...

Then it's on to Pox!

It's not as good as I had heard, but it's Godhead of Awe.

Another thing to do would be the kamigawa land that makes 1/1 spirits for your opponent.

If you really want to stop infect, Lightmine Field, and Chocking Fumes. It'd be funny for Goblins as well.

There's a card in extended that makes all other creatures 1/1's, I had been thinking about making that kind of deck before I traded my Wurm for a OTK... I've heard they're actually supposed to be really good too, and with your building it will be even more interesting to see.

The deck is all about grinding it's opponent to a stop, and she's a lodestone on CRACK.
Because of how the deck works I should have a two-turn advantage at ALL times, and that means at the point they're ready for a turn two play, I play her... Usually making them sacrifice either a mana dork, or a land, maintaining my advantage even longer.


So basically with her AND Nether Void, I have a five-turn advantage on my opponent.

I agree that the secret to MBC lies in it's sideboard, I usually run it the opposite way though. It works like crap for standard, but in legacy where every deck has about five or so search lands it's usually better to just disrupt their mana.

Of all deck types I've seen, Ravager is the one I least expected to be revamped.
I think I like this a bit better than the normal version, but I don't know about three mox opals MD... Perhaps Lotus Petal could replace one?

Thanks man! And yeah, seeing a good MBC again made me want to re-do mine since it's been so long, and yours is the first MBC I've seen in awhile that I've liked other than the TNE decks on salvation(It makes a great teaching tool).

And as for Hypnotic, that thing is just beastly man, running it makes almost any black deck so much more... Evil :P
