All measure mentality is based on the ego culture.
It's so deeply woven into our society that we often think it's how nature intended it,
But it's very much a construct.

I call it gazelle jumps, after the gazelle on the serengeti Savannah.
When they see a lion, they all start jumping up and down, and if the lion spots a weak gazelle it runs after that one, otherwise it leaves them alone.

It's a health signal, and humanity seems full of health signal behavior
Self mutilation (cutting, piercing, tattoos, branding, getting drunk, jackassing)
Status (fashion, art, large estates, servants)

I'm working on figuring out how we can dump a lot of signals because they burn out resources and imprison us, but we probably also need these signals as a species.

I wonder if there is a similar strategy at work in politics. If your party is the most liked you can maybe make all other voters voting sick.

It confirms one of my older theories on advertising and politics.
The more noice you make, the healthier you/the product seems
And people buy/support the one that makes the most noice

Things are pretty lax here now.
The youth are going out in strange places because discos are still closed.
The older still stay at home.
The industry is opening up but with corona rules.
The healthy people are going to the beaches, forest and fields to jog and play sports.

As our efforts to chase voters are going on, I get upvotes in very old decks.

I'm warming up at the moment.
I have more than 50 people I've followed for years, and they will be my next target voters,
I could play the loyalty card with them.

Was it unexpected to you how open media our struggles would be?

So far noones been telling us to go away, which means that we are so far a great entertainment.
That won't last, so get people to wote on you before they lose interest in this.

I'll be willing to create a scandal later to revive interest, just to keep this contest ongoing but it will only work a few number of times.
