It may be expensive, but it works and it can serve as a guide.

Besides, turn one you put down Terramorphic Expanse for a forrest or a tapped Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle. thats your first turn play.

he has 4 fetch lands and for the birds they are not needed. the only thing that could be a one drop add is Amulet of Vigor. but its a dead card after turn 2-3. this deck hits critical mass on 4.

i took out my Avenger of Zendikar's for the Koth, i still have the Lotus Cobras in. it lowers your mana curve, and gets you mana quicker. if you are trying to stay competitive then try sticking with the cobras. i'm trying to look where to drop 4 cards to main board Lighinng Bolts. after much playtesting i feel the need for them. Cheap creature removal or 3 to the dome aint bad.

Think about using Aether Tradewinds, Into the Roil, or Narrow Escape to bounce Venerated Teacher. That should help.

path is there because its a great card. but i am trying to keep only creature spells in the deck on the chance that i cast Bloodbraid. if i hit a creature and Vengevine is in the graveyard then it comes back out for free. if i hit a bolt or harrow then it stays in the yard. i'll take the risk with the 4 Paths.

awakening zone puts a token into play, not casts a creature. Vengevine only come out of the graveyard when i cast two ore more creature spells in a turn. as for Realms Uncharted, a 3 mana slot taken up to put two lands in my hand and two in my graveyard when Knight of the Reliquary is not the main card is not worth it to me. helpfull in a way, yes. thank you for your thoughts.

i have updated the idea of this deck; Rush 2.0 ( http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=68000 )

i have taken out Path to Exile in the new deck.

also, look at your mana symbol occurance. you currently have 44 red symbols occuring in your deck, with 10 mountains and 4 crags. 18 green symbols and 10 forests with 4 crags. i would trade 4 forests for 4 mountains to help the abundance of red in your deck.

-4 Llanowar Elves +4 Birds of Paradise. The elves can not make red mana for you, the birds can. just a thought.

well, the title was missleading. so cascade was not the main element of the deck. cheap Creatures that could help Vengevine stay in play is the point. thank you though.

Shorecrasher Mimic, Jhessian Infiltrator, and Noble Hierarch.

Agree with teh, drop the angelic and ardent. run 1 more Hour and see what else you could drop.

Legions of Lim-Dul, and Balthor should go to the sideboard.

Rakdos Guildmage could be taken out; its abilities are expensive and you cant use half of them. this deck looks like it should do quite well if you take out the 'filler' cards.

think about adding Stillmoon Cavalier; a zombie pro white, black flying first strike pumping creature would be what this deck is all about.

all in all great idea.

also per the Gatherer Card Rulings on Coat of arms: "If you have a creature with more than one creature type, and another creature matches more than one creature type, you only count that creature once. You do not double count it because it has a double match."

umm... coat of arms affects your opponets creatures also, i don't think this would be as powerful as you think. with only 4 basic lands of each type in your deck and only 20 lands you would have a 33% chance of having a land card in your hand. then you would only have a 6% chance of it being the type of land you would need. it would be easier to add Mirror Entity and a bunch of mana ramp, token creatures and go from there. also if you are running 5 color, try Prismatic Omen. Armillary Sphere, the Panorama's, Terramorphic Expanse, Rampant Growth, Farhaven Elf, and Civic Wayfinder are all good ways to get the lands you need in play quickly.
