I really like this brew a lot. The thing that concerns me the most, though, is that nettle drone just dies to everything. Would it be worth running dispel in the main for lightning bolts? That seems like a really tough thing to beat. That, and something out of the board for abrupt decay. I like spellskite for that. The only other thing I have a question about is the cascade bluffs. Are they super relevant or could they be subbed out with shocks or pains or something?

Here is the real question. Would Swiftspear be better than guide in this deck. I think the answer might be a resounding yes!

Pretty much all that needs to be said for the modern format. =) Maybe run 2 Midnight cards as your psuedo-pestermites? It doesnt have flash though, which kinda sucks.

To be honest, I think it is a strictly better choice than midnight guard. I cant actually think of a reason to play guard over bell ringer.

I think Bell-ringer is the better choice too. It has a 4 butt and Lightning Bolt is a pretty popular card in modern.

Edit: Oh, and flash...seems legit...

Thanks! I have been ruthlessly trading (and I pulled a foil Polluted Delta out of Khans which helped). Revoker may not be the best card...it was just in there as a toolbox answer for plainswalkers amongst other activated abilities. Chord has been good for digging it out at instant speed.

Yeah....you need to grab prophet of kruphix for starters. That card goes in every edh deck with blue and green in it.

I have the white one. It was fine. I didnt bother with the rest the ev was really low.

I like flicker better because it doesn't require recasting. Though...bounce is better with eldrazi....

Umbilicus seems really good.

Yeah, the link there will take you to it when you can. Conjurer's Closet seems a little bit slow. May Erratic Portal?

Try some flicker effects. Restoration Angel, Ghostly Flicker, and Cloud Shift are all good options.

BTW, if you wouldn't mind, check out what I have been running lately.

Tiny Leaders is sort of a blend of edh and legacy. I really don't hear from anyone any more. I hang out at jjs and have been able to build up a new group of folks there. Mostly just a lot of standard players though. Hope things turn more positive for ya! Let me know if you swing through tifton

Im great and you? Yeah...it was way too good. Woodfall Primus would be a good one. Terastodon is also decent. Those are probably the best substitutes for primordial. To be honest, I haven't been playing much edh myself. I had been going down to valdosta for drafts and game days, but the shop there closed. Now im stuck playing (when I can) at the tifton shop. Mostly standard, modern, and tiny leaders.

Steel Shapers gift seems like an easy fit for this build.

Looks decent. I like that you can't counter life's legacy by killing the dude in response. Better than my original build for sure.

Maybe...id have to see it work first. Two things though... Why the leafcrown dryads? They seem very mediocre. Also, I would play temple of malady x4 for sure.

Interesting...not sure if it gets there though. You need a playest of course and new nissa for sure. I'd also run the crap out of elspeth. This is a walker heavy meta. Embrace it sir!
