Dazzle, it is good, I agree 100%, however I agree with PoloPlayer more. Being able to setup quicker is always better than getting those few more counters on. Especially when your deck relies on keeping those creatures on the field...
@ HotPoloPlayer & Sorin, so it's not a bad deck is it guys? Seems pretty powerful with Varolz scavenging the 4 power creatures. Tried it myself in a deck once it's a pretty good tactic.
Gas, with some of the new spoilers out I have gotten an idea for a great deck.Turn1 - Land (we're going for Naya colours here)Turn 2 - Land, Sylvan CaryatidTurn 3 - Land, Fabled Hero.Turn 4 - Land, Selesnya Charm (+2 and 1 counter), Ordeal of Purphoros(1 counter), attack (1 counter, sac enchantment for 3 damage), giant growth(+3 and 1 counter), trampling through for 22 with double strike... Whaddya think??

The "Standard" tag would suggest to some that this is a Standard deck, but I can see how that can be confusing...
I'm terribly sorry but do you realise how old this deck is?? Burning earth didn't even exist when this deck was made or played, so your comment is stupid and irrelevant.... Maybe next time you should look at the date of the deck before commenting about cards that can counter a deck that isn't even played anymore....

I think, they use certain cards. I've done sealed plenty of times, but not repacks.
