Deck Description

http://www.starcitygames.com/events/coverage/turbo_fog_with_james_newman.html

James Newman's hilariously sadistic turbo fog deck in the new 2015 standard. Recorded for all to see in all its glory.

How to Play

Fog all the things, play Monastery siege - khans, and Alhammaret's archive. Draw cards all day err day, Dictate of Kruphix to go mach 2 and your opponent mills twice those cards due to the interaction between these two cards.

Somethings wrong with the legality of the deck.
It has treasure cruise which is banned in modern.

Also I've pointed out to another that when you play mill, you don't want to play day's undoing

I think birthing pod is the same. Did you watch the deck tech for this? Also (since the scenario is being argued upon), does day's undoing trigger sphinx's tutelage?

No. The "END TURN" is a big middle-finger to triggers that happen after Days Undoing ends. You can RESPOND to days undoing, but it doesnt combo anything.
Its a new ruling that was added for this card. Unless a card trigger that triggers after Days Undoing says it happens at the end of turn, Days Undoing fizzles it out.

Also Wicked this is STANDARD. And before you write Days Undoing off in a Mill deck, watch it doing work first. Its actually hilariously viable. This deck is Mill/FOG deck. The way this deck wins is by playing 1 of each of its 12 enchantments and fogging all day. Days undoing gives you more chances to draw multiple copies. Each Days undoing snowballs into more enchantments until 1 draw = 8 cards and 16 mill per turn MINIMUM.

First instance of the card says "Each player shuffles his or her hand AND LIBRARY" So whatever you normally milled from any player is reshuffled, time wasted on milling!

On the tutelage/day interaction the mill-ruling states that a player needs to draw a card to die, so putting cards away isn't lethal. I'd have to guess that the first parts of day first reshuffles decks, then 7 triggers stack on tutelage, then day ends the turn and remove the stack so cards never get milled anyway's. However I'm not good at layers and that stuff so if anyone more guru says otherwise I'll find the strategy fun enough :D Any way I can see the idea now.

713.1
This new rule explains a bit more about Day's Undoing and ending the turn. Day's Undoing is the first card that has additional effects before it ends the turn. If any abilities trigger while players are shuffling or drawing cards, before the "end the turn" procedure starts, those abilities won't be put onto the stack. The "end the turn" procedure will essentially eat them. Of course, abilities that trigger during the "end the turn" procedure will go on the stack during that turn's cleanup step. (These abilities are pretty rare though.)

So after all this, I agree that day can be used in a deck that mills, but not in ordinary mill.

Yes Days undoing sends all the milled cards back into the opponent's library but thats ok because it doesnt get rid of board presence. Your enchantments do the milling, all you have to do is draw cards and survive.
