so you end up with 20 rats 22/22 at turn like 5 or 6
I made a few adjustment to make it a bit more playable
yeah I was just throwing this, it would be the most boring deck to play anyway
Could be but then it's no longer Modern, it could also be used to get the artifact in turn 3
You need 4 dragonskull summit, those land will not come tap and wont cost you 2 life, they are not really expensive to buy(cheaper then blood crypt)have you though about "Infernal Plunge", sacrifice a creature to get 2 additional mana, it would let you ramp early game, sacrificing your eggs to get the big dragon earlier?
Wall of glare is not modern, it think it's the only card not modernWall of denial is a 0/8 defender costing 3, i think it's better then a few of your defender like Guardians of AkrasaTree of Redemption is a 0/13 defender that could be good in your deck(you can exchange his toughness with you life)Perimeter Captain is a one drop that can give you back lifeI've used a few Mentor of the meek in my defender deck, at one point you hand gets empty, with Mentor, you pay 1 mana and when a creature with power 2 or less enter the battlefield, you draw a card(most defender have 0 or 1 power)Devil's Play is a good card too since you can cast it twice with its flashbackMind grind is a winning condition by itself in a deck like this, you cast it for 18 mana(late game) and the oponent has to flip card from his librairy in his graveyard until he flips 16 land. Combined with doorkeeper you might be able to kill your opponent with a lot less
but sol ring is not even allowed in legacy
If you don't plan to recast gravecrawler you could use Dryad Militant, it's 2/1 for CMC 1, you have more green land(easier to cast turn 1), it can block and it's a lot cheaperDoom blade is ok in sideboad when you know you dont play vs black, but in the main deck it's not worth it. Like you said putrefy is much betterI would still go with the Elk, but otherwise Caravan Vigil is better then lay of the land since it has a morbid effect
7$ the card, i'm trying to avoid card costing most then 3-4$ each card, but i will keep it sideboard

instead of Lay of the land, you could use Dawntreader Elk, you can block with it then sacrifice it so it negates the attack and place a land in the battlefield. Also you can scavenge it after from the graveyard
I though about it. Most were not blue and i need a winning condition. Mindslaver might not be able to kill my opponent by itself.I'open for card suggestion and probable car splash more color

You could add those land and it would make it easier to play the eldrazi since you ahve 16 eldrazi spell- Eldrazi Temple- Eye of UginBrood Birthing(ramp, cost 2 mana and gives 3 mana)Skittering Invasion(cost 7 and gives 5 mana, but you might cast this spell for less then 7 with the eldrazi land)Growth Spasm(search and place a land on the battlefield and gives 1 mana)all this mana is in a form or creature so you dont need to use it right away and you can use it the folloing turn.Exampleturn 4 with 2 of each of those land, you can cast Skittering Invasion and have 5 creatureturn 5 you have at least 13 mana to cast a ridiculous eldraziI've wanted to build an eldrazi deck, but it's just too expensive
