No mystical teachings instead of mystical tutor? Also hinder in edh got dramatically nerfed because they removed tuck for generals... I'd use dissipate or counterflux. Fist of suns also seems win more since jodah does the same thing. I'd swap it for another big beast, maybe verdant or magmatic force

I keep the fist of the sun for back up just in case I can't get Jodah out, I have mystical tutor from an old wizard deck running Darmia, Sage of Stone as commander. Thanks for the help though, was thinking of cutting it for something else.
Trying to put a couple of basic lands in so I can find a use for Land tax, but not too worried about it.

See, its really hard to pin jodah down, since hes cheap as hell as far as generals go, and not that big of a threat comparatively to some other generals. So youre trying to account for every contingency when... theres 9 out of 10 chance that fist of suns will be a dead draw, and in those situations you'd rather have literally anything else. your deck can play without jodah's ability, it's just harder. If you wanna keep it you can, but I definitely would say it's very, very, very situational and jodah's whole strong point is versatility. I'd also recommend a crystal quarry. Vorinclex also seems kinda win more, I'd say elesh norn instead of him.
As far as basics.. I'd definitely run at least two of each basic. A from the ashes would DECIMATE you right now.
Also. One word. Omniscience. Maybe with the recycle/null profusion combo
