haha yah i have been thinking of making it part blue. blue will have better defenses against most things and has better draw spells. im just experimenting with a mono red version of it really. gotta be different and difficult i guess hahaha. anyone can make this with another color and boost the power.

it is a hope to see something like this in a tourney and do pretty good. well i want to aim for a standard tourney to see it but i am pos a modern or possibly legacy version of this could see play.

hahaha well it is tough due to the colossuses and the likes of the lorwyn elementals, but if u will check out my CMC deck i have on here u can see its pretty easy to do it actually. clone and his copy friends r a handful for people :D

lol i know how u feel, i got lucky with my copy. its not too expensive though.

i would say trading post for doj and if i remember right i think sorin markov is banned in commander. if so he might have to go for obedience. otherwise i would say the white primordial would be my next option. yah a great card but it goes against ur life drain here. ooooo also look into exssangunate and even deathcloud >:D both r just brutal black spells man.

lol its a brutal card man just brutal when abused right.. hate that damn card haha. i use it along with replicate in my Bolas commander along with ischon scepter hehehe >:D

another card to consider is howling mind and even font of mythos. with enough control or counter spells u really wont have much to worry about with them drawing. i had a mono blue commander which milled out my sis in law's doran deck. her face was priceless lol.

lol u know its not a prob. hmm a doj wouldnt hurt. i use a txtless version in Kaalia just cause i can hahaha. i rarely ever draw it but u have a longer drawn out game than i do . my games usually dont last long with here XD. anyways..., yah blind obedience would be a great card here and even the abuse of extort. might as well since ur commander will just keep bouncing and u might need to drop a couple spells to keep pressure on. nah i think u have enough animation here to do what u need. if anything, i would say get ur hands on a demonic tutor. its just a bad ass card with any black deck lol.

not a prob and if u go more mill, my brother was evil enough to have twincast in his build with a copy of tramatize.... damn that sucked.... -_- only way i was able to stand a chance was b/c my Kaalia deck has tons of reanimation in it..

im liking this for ur tourney man. my only thing is i would have tried to get the extort ability going on. blind obediance is almost a must for this monster lol. i like it, just my version would run more extort like cards in here. this is the deck i would take man.

not so sure about using this in a tourney. maybe if u were to change it to be more mill based u could have some fun. my brother did a nin deck based around milling. was pretty effective actually and deadly once he got going and kept her alive lol. u biggest issues when using nin is shes not very strong. darksteel plate, lightning greaves, whispersilk cloak, and swiftboots r all key cards people use in their commander decks.

it takes alot to get it going i know lol. hmm it depends what u want the deck to do. u can use mill/burn pretty good i would think, or u can try to abuse some of the other cards using storm.

trust me, i know about using him with the storm mechanic. i have been considering getting melek myself just to abuse my dragons even more but alas, im sort of at stretch with the ones i would wanna use... -_- and i would need a 6th dragonstorm lol.

well right off the bat, u cant abuse melek if u dont have an outstanding amount of spells in it. i know u said u r a creature heavy person, but to abuse him right u r going to have to change that. there is an incredible amount of shennanigans u can have with him if u use him right. i know when they did a column on him for magic's commander column he took the same idea i had. DRAGONS!!! lol, he used melek as a dangerous toy and ramped up his spell count to even dragonstorm out some pretty nasty dragons. not sayin thats what u should do but its one common idea people are having with him.
