Deck Description

a deck based on using up your life to get stuff and then getting your life with drain life etc.

deck has changed drastically
is now a devotion deck.
i have found the key to devotion is making sure your creatures stay alive. as such ive added some undying and some regeneration to the deck

Deck discussion for Black Idea

I post here for both "black idea decks":

I thinks this has more solid base, but the best is to merge the two decks: monoblack and phyrexian paiment costs:

OUT: (in brackets n° cards out)
- (2) liliana vess: too expensive, not fit this deck so much. Crypt ghast is way better for mana purpose.
- (3) drain life: concept is nice, but the card not so powefull.
- (2) choose between exanguinate and consuming spirit. The former is for multiplayer and the latter is more multipurpose. take 4 in the deck and 4 in the side if you plan playing multi.
- (2) roiling horror: there are cards way better.

IN: (in brackets n° cards in)
- (2) Phyrexian Arena: simply awesome and fit the concept.
- (4) Mutagenic growth: with vampire nighthawk or vault skyrge is gratis +2/+2.
- (1) Moltensteel Dragon.
- (1) Phyrexian Metamorph. both moltensteel and metamorph are nice cards you can play, can choose one or two of a kind, or only one type and leave the other for the side.
- (2) Exquisite Blood
- (2) Sanguine Bond: with exquisite blood is like "instawin". If switch the Erebos with the Whip, the results are assured.

OUT: 9 cards, IN: 12 cards.
Now is up to you to choose from "in cards" if there is something that please you better, strategy speaking.

I hear this deck screaming "CABAL COFFERS!!!" ...

The Unholy Strength seems out of place, though.

made some crazy adjustments to make it a better devotion deck. it is a little different than original but still should be a strong deck. with devotion ive found keeping your creatures alive to be of utmost importance so ive added a regenerating creature and ways to give your creatures undying / a way to just prevent all damage
