i wouldn't do the chandras or the heretic's punishment. i'd play 4x desperate ravings. it's a staple for this deck.

yeah, agreed. Desperate ravings, think twice, ponder, even divination or blue sun's zenith. they're pretty much staples for this archetype. i wouldn't use past in flames either. it's kind of bad... just sayin.

do you really need 24 lands? mine runs 22, and it's perfectly fine. maybe use ponder... helps ur delver too

u should just do burning vengeance. i hav 4 different builds (thr R/U one is the best). you should check it out. i like the use of phoenix btw

i also hav a treefolk deck, though i did not know of indomitable ancients. this will sound ridiculous, but u need cheaper creatures (as abundant as they are in treefolk). Bosk banneret and treefolk harbinger are absolute staples in treefolk decks. also, with black you have access to more removal and also reach of branches is gud for treefolk.

I like it. more Personal sanctuary + more mana barbs. Also, war's toll. i know u didn't want to do creatures, but all of the enchantresses would make this deck really seem tribal. Also, spirit link on an opponent's creature is like they never deal damage, you gain the life and it sets off searing meditation. idyllic tutor, zendikond, genjus. If u make the changes i suggested in the beginning, u could cut ajnai's mantra, spiteful visions, story circle, and probably even magmatic core as i'm sure thay are 2 ofs for a reason (except the mantra, which we can both agree i'm sure could be replaced.)

I like it, nice flagstones. might use green tho for mana ramp, turn 2 stone rain, beast within, molten rain all seem pretty gud.

I like the deck, and the use of evasion is excellent. I might suggest invisible stalker because he tends to stick more. Check out my Mill blade deck, it's kind of similar to this.

I might suggest putting in midnight haunting unless you want to keep metalcraft or something. Jor kadeen is also really good, and with him you can put in ornithopter and memnite

A problem i see with this build is a lack of aggressive ability. The simulacrum and the myr are your only real early game options other than removal, and neither one of them really puts pressure on the opponent. Your perilous myr thing is something i looked at, but a 0 cost shock is less valuable than a 1/1 floating shock unless theres something else happening. If you gain something from the Myr dying, then it's way better. Another problem i see is the speed of the deck and the creatures you have for early game. Six costers with the hearltess summoning come out turn 4, and the earlier plays can't come out early enough. What i'm trying to point out is the curve, you have skinrender and simulacrum at 4, then wurmcoil and sphinx at 6. There's a turn 3 gap with the heartless that could be utilized with bloodgift demon. Also there is no way to recur your phantasmal images other than sheoldred and that is not enough, and there's really nothing of value to copy with phantasmal image. I might try to add a color in this deck, probably white for things like sun titan and archon of justice. These give you plays like Sun titian reanimates phantasmal image into another sun titan. Also, don't underestimate evil twin. it's very good in this build. Of course it's up to you to build a deck that works for you, but i'm just trying to be constructive as possible. it's a tricky build, so it'll take some tinkering

i just put up a heartless summoning deck but i didn't think about superion. good call on that. one thing i'm not too sure about is the green. i understand glissa is awesome, but i've tried her out and she doesn't really do what you want her to i think. also, black sun's zenith is kind of killing your creatures. you can look at mine, though it's in its early stages.

yeah this is probably more solid than my idea, but mine was just fun. i usually play venser in a bant setting myself, but with vengevines and frost titans. makes for some pretty awesome interaction
