I think Nalaar's a bit expensive for this deck. By that point you should be in very good shape, and if you're not then chandra's not really going to help. I think ablaze would be better, since this is a very instant/sorcery oriented deck.

Here's an example:
Which is better in a hand -
4 x Kargan Dragonlords OR

1 x Kargan Dragonlord, Dragonmaster Outcast, Obsidian Fireheart, Comet Storm
The four kargan's probably costs more, and its in no way prepared for whatever your opponent may throw out. Exclusion cards would murder your deck, as would an anti-flying deck. With the second option, you would be applying pressure from every angle and would be able to deal with your opponents deck better.

I agree that singleton decks are bad SOMETIMES, there are some decks where they can survive.

I agree that decks with specific strategies, combos, or win-conditions need a lot of consistency (especially for speed), but decks that are more general strategies don't always need great consistency. One of my absolute best decks (has won several tournaments) is my elf deck which is VERY inconsistent. What makes it good is that, with less pressure on consistency and more on fluency, i was able to make it more adaptable to the opponent. A deck with 4 of every card can never hope to handle what the opponent is going to do (destroy enchantments, mill, control, artifacts, etc.) Decks like Burn, Tribal, Ramp, Control, etc. with a large card base and many different options can very easily be singleton.

Also, having too much consistency takes the fun out of it, you know? It's playing the same game over and over and over again. What's the use of that? I have one deck (my standard) which is focused on always getting the cards i need and is very consistent, and i literally never play it because its always the same game.

What did that link have to do with my deck?

Here are some cards that I think would be very nice for this deck.

Immolating Souleater: Give Necrotic Ooze Firebreathing. That could be so kickass if your opponent has no creatures out.
Azure Mage: 4 mana for a card draw. Always nice if you're hand's empty and you've got some mana to spare.
Kalitas, Bloodchief: I know this guy's a bit up there in price, but imagine how epic being able to just kill any of your opponents creatures would be.
Guul Draz Assassin: Same reason as Kalitas, but cheaper. Always nice to have.
Kazandu Tusk Caller: 2 3/3's. Must I even say it?
Zombie Infestation: More discard ability and some 2/2's along with it.
Alloy Myr: Extra mana, plus can help you cast some of the green spells in here should you not be able to discard them.

Wow. This deck looks SWEET! I really want this to make it to the front page, so I'll comment as much as possible.

Actually, this deck is centered more around his second ability: that whenever I mill a creature, I get a 2/2 zombie. When combined with cards like trepanation blade, mindshrieker, and cellar door that get benefits for milling anyway, it can get some awesome combos.

A human deck is perfectly easy enough to make standard. Take out some older human cards and replace them with some new innistrad ones. NEEDS Angelic Overseer for sure.

No, I totally get you. This deck is really fast, so I don't need the myrs a whole lot for mana. But, with Skirsdag High Priest's ability, I need two additional creatures on the battlefield for his ability to activate, so that's mainly what the myr's are for. However, if you have any other ideas on cheap blue or black creatures that I could use, please tell me! lol

I definitely see your point with the tower. The reason I included it is because there isn't a lot of creature removal in white, and tower of calamities is one of the most thorough cards i know lol. Got any alternatives?

Epically won. Due to odd numbers, most games were three person, and practically annhialated both players.

I know what you mean. For a deck with a clearly combo based strategy, one of's are terrible. But I feel like decks that more go for a theme (red burn, blue control, green ramp, etc.), one of's aren't so bad, so long as the cards you have are all worth it. Just about any card in this deck would be pretty useful in most situations, so I always feel hesitant taking them out. I can't think of a time when I wouldn't want to have a Guard Gomazoa out, or an Azure Mage for card draws, or tower for a bunch of damage. It just all works together well, even if it is inconsistent.

I haven't updated it for a while. Recently addeed Kira, Great Glass Spinner and Karn Liberated to it. That adds a good 35 dollars on XD

The way I see it, since both abilities are "Enter the battlefield" abilities, they would trigger at the exact same time. Therefore, not only would the damage be dealt, but it would be with the bloodthirst bonus, and they would enter the battlefield with the +1/+1 counters.

Another idea I have... maybe Jor Kadeen? If you get Door of Destinies and Cloudstone Curio out, his metalcraft should be activated, so he would give your spirits some added bonuses.

It's no doubt better than a lot of the front pagers I've seen. Have you tried playing with this at all?
