Hey poetmaster, sry I haven't been replying 2 your comments bro, but I've been so busy with school lately, this is actually the first post I've made in about 4 months now. In my opinion the 5 most usefull cards in standard right now would be:
1) O-ring
2) Rancore
3) Abrupt decay
4) Lotleth Troll
5) Dreadbore

Just my food for thought =)

Cavern of souls, snapcaster mage and moorland haunt are a must have. Up the images to 4 and get rid of phantasmal dragon. If you add in moorland hauntr then add in a playset of seachrome coasts. Neurok Commando and grand archetect don't really fit in here, so I'd take them out. Other than that, I like it. If you'd like further ideas then check out my illusions, I've got the illusion deck system pretty downpacked:

OK, I shouldn't have swore (my bad), but I just wanted to make sure you saw the mistake, that's all. I wasn't trying to offend you and I'm sorry if I did. I'm glad you changed it anyway =)

On a side note, I think you should add more fetch lands (misty rainforest ect) not just for hedron crab, but to help thin out the deck. Fetch lands pull out land from your deck making it less likely you will draw them later on, and thus speeding up the deck.

Why the fuck are you running Maralen of the Mornsong??? Where the hell did Dark Confidant go??? Seriously, Malaren is shit in so many ways. Firstly, she makes the opponent loose life which is irrelivant when your only win-con is mill. Secondly she fucks up Jace's Erasure and Visions of Beyond, and thirdly she costs 3 mana compared to two with Dark Confidant!!! The only thing she is good for is triggering Archive Trap, when Ghost Quarter does it waaay better! You have no reason to fear losing life with dark confidant because there are only 3 cards in your entire deck that cost more than two mana. Seriously, you need to get Dark Confidant back in here, I really hope you take my advice because if you don't, this deck will DIE in legacy.

Firstly, this deck costs $19k. Secondly, this isn't legal in any format. And thirdly, no-one would even play against this in casual play. What you should do is bring it up to 60 cards, add some lands, use 1 of each mox and black lotus, add some artifact tutors and make this a good vintage deck. I hope I didn't sound rude, I just wanted to give you some advice.

Yeah, he's fine with the cost because it's a decent deck that won't go very out of date by this October. I agree with nightshade peddler, but I'm not so sure whether or not to put in 4 joint assault. But I will put some in, thx for the help.

Yeah, my friend plays his illusions against me and does the same thing. Once you have multiple lords, then phantasmal bears don't seem quite so small anymore =)

I like your twist on playing illusions, by copying Lord and making all your illusions hexproof. I just thought of another card that would go really good in here - Cavern of Souls. You could make it even harder for your opponent to deal with your illusions by making sure they don't get countered either! That reminds me, I should add that to my illusion deck OMG!
