Deck Description

I hate the BWR commanders. I could not figure a deck out with this color combination that I could really get into. And then after looking at the options for commanders, I misread Tariel as Tyrael. The decision was made, a straight Diablo 2 theme deck. All the creatures represent legends from my favorite non-card game of all time, and as such they are all legends (except Kitsune Healer - He represents all thh insta-heal NPCs in towns). The monster generating tokens represent the swarms of monsters you face in the game. The lands.... well imagine I was using those paticular ones for theme purposes, but honestly I was just mana fixing.

The following is a list of each non-land card and what it represents from D2.

cluestones - charms
sigets - runes
buther's cleaver - Butcher's Pupil ( reference to the D1 first boss)
Champion's Helm - Harlequin Crest
Chrome Mox - Stone of Jordan
Chromatic Lantern - Waypoints in the game
Darksteel Plate - Tyrael's Might
General's Kabuto - Andariel's Visage
Helvault - The Worldstone
Honor-Worn Shaku - Occulus
Inquisitor's Flail - Kalim's Flail
Lightning Greaves - War Traveler
Loxodon Warhammer - Breath of the Dying runeword
Mask of Avacyn - Tal Rasha's Horadic Crest
Mask of Memory - Cathan's Visage
Oblivion Stone - Soulstones
Ring of Xathid - Nagelring
Shield of Kaldra - Herald of Zakarum
Swiftfoot Boots - Marrowwalk
Trailblazer's Boots - Sandstorm Trek
Viridian Longbow - Windforce
Whispersilk Cloak - Tal Rasha's Wrappings
Worldslayer - The sword that Tyreal throws into the Worldstone

Brigid - The Amazon PC
Geth - Mephisto
Hazduhr - Deckard Cain
Jaya - the Sorceress PC
Kagemaro - Duriel

How to Play

Oh... right, well honestly, this is not a very good deck. I mean there are decent creatures and good equipment. Assuming you get a good draw and your opponents don't board wipe and ignore you while you get enough mana to actually start dropping these monsters.

Since the theme is the most important element of the deck, I will keep my eye out for other cards that can be explicitly fit in. Until then, play this deck with people who love Diablo 2, they will be so excited to see what you play next, maybe you can defeat them while they are distracted

Deck discussion for The Diablo 2 TCG

Honestly I have no idea about what to say about this one. Even if I told you about another card you could use you would prolly shoot it down because it does not fit with the theme. I played the heck out of D II back in the day, loved my druid, anyhow interesting deck I would not have ever thought to do something like this.
