Ya thanks. I think I'm gonna drop the subterranean one for Oyobi. I am not sure though. I like the glory because it helps against things like lightning bolt, flame slash, pyroclasm. Basically things that do instant dmg or put neg counters on till the end of turn. Thanks for the ideas.

I just want you to know that this deck gave me the inspiration for my own spirit deck. I don't know how it would stack up against yours, but I would love it if you'd give it a peek some time. Thanks.

Just changed a bit of this deck. More creatures now, which is good, Better discard spells that cost less. A board wipe card for when my opponent spams me with little creatures. And I cut back and got rid of some stuff. Enjoy!

Kyle I think this deck is boss and it should have 300 likes personally. I've played against this deck, and I thoughth I was godly at magic until I played this. The only possible thing to make this remotely better would be to switch the megrim for the caress, and get some better dual lands. That is the ONLY things. This deck is dirty.

Ummm... no... Dual Lands DO NOT count as basic lands. They produce mana that basic lands produce, that does not make them basic lands.

As you asked, I took a look at your deck. I like the idea of it, but I think you have way too many cards. I think that the elf that you tap to put a 1/1 counter on target elf is a little bit of a waste, because it's only 1 counter. I think you should drop that elf for Coat of Arms, it would make a lot more counters, and it's only 1 more mana.

I know I miss out on speed, but I make up for it in punch. And I do know about the vulnerability issue. That's why I packed the deck with so many play sets of my best mana cards, because I have been bolted before. Many times. But I always have something to replace it. I would like to draw more, but I don't want to drop a better elf for one just to draw. I don't play in tournaments anymore so I don't need to worry about any of that, I just play with a group of people at my College. About 10 of us, which is how many people went to FNM where I lived. Thanks for the ideas. I dropped 4 forests for Wirewood Lodge, to untap an elf just to RE tap it for that much more mana, and I got elvish guidance to put on a land and get me lots of mana as well.

That literally makes no sense. Why would it be rare then?

I prolly got my turns and amounts of mana wrong in my above comments, but that's because I play way too many games, and I have way too many decks.

The way I use to run this deck, I DID have the llanowar elves in it, but then I realized that basically after turn 3 he is useless to me. Bloom Tender get's me a lot more mana and it only costs two. That's what I dropped the llanowar for. Then fyndhorn is basically the same. The arbor elf I think is really pointless because it's tapping out and elf that is gonna get me only 1 more mana. You are thinking of cards that get only ONE more mana. I am thinking about cards that will make the most mana for my buck. Turn 2, ya I'd have 3 mana. But on turn 3 for this deck? I can have 5, maybe 6 mana. By turn 6 though? I've almost had 20 mana before. ON TURN 6! I know that when I pull my warcaller, I want the most mana I could possibly have to kick him with. And that is what this deck does. Especially with my mana reflection, my doubling season, and my coat of arms. People hate playing against me when I pull this out.

I liked this advice until you said STEAL Emrakul. If you know what Emrakul does, then you'd know he wouldn't be able to steal it. Em has protect from every color. That means your Black Vampire can't use it's black ability to steal him. Drr.

Looks a lot like my Vamp Deck to be honest. Great minds think alike! Question though, why bother having fetch lands when you are only running black? Why not just have a swamp instead? Seems like a waste to me. Could just have a swamp that won't cause you to waste 1 life.

^^^^^ thank you for the idea of red, but how often am I going to have all three of those cards in my hand AND have 5 mana on turn 5? With the piper in my hand and at least one eldrazi in my hand I'm pretty set. But you say I have to have Chandra, geosurge, and one of them to all use in a combo. Thank you for the idea, but I like green more than red, I think I'll stick with my forests.

Thanks for the ideas. I'm going to keep monomania regardless, maybe just drop it to two instead of three. I like the board swipe idea, that's usually what gets me is more creatures than I can stop. The dark ritual would also be a welcome addition.

I have bloom tender, treespeaker AND elvish archdruid, what are you talking about? Those 3 elves alone have gotten me 40 mana on turn 5. Why would I untap 1 forest for 1 extra mana, or tap 1 elf for only 1 mana when bloom tender gets me one mana per green permanent I control, treespeaker makes it so every one of my elves can make 2 mana, and arch druid gets me 1 mana for every single elf. You clearly don't know elves very well if you want me to add those 3.

I don't get the turn, no. But I get Emrakul on TURN 5. With red I would have to wait all game until I had enough mana. Which would defeat the entire purpose of the deck, wouldn't it?

Goblin grenade is obsolete in this deck. I use to use it but it hurts me in the long run. It does 5 dmg yes, but it also makes me lose a goblin. The War Strike has the ability to do MORE dmg, and not make me lose creatures. That is the reason I dropped the grenade.
